Plasti-dipped the hood scoop black. Not sure if I like it or not. And the new Pilot Super Sports are fantastic

Went to the Stealer and bought wheel arch molding clips to secure rear passenger side arch molding. Replaced the windshield wipers blades. Tomorrow will be 65 degrees and sunny. Don't call...I won't be here.

Did a bit if a happy dance when it fired right up after sitting 2 weeks, some of that bitter cold. Then went for a hoonigan type drive. :ihih:

I'm driving the Cooper today, tomorrow, and maybe Sunday now that the weather has returned to "normal". Unfortunately, the Cooper will play the part of the groundhog Sunday night and go back to his "hole" [aka garage stall] as we get ready for our remaining weeks of Winter.

70 degrees..blue sky...125 miles of back roads...topless. What do you think I did to Pepper?

Parked my coupe, took a rental sonata until chicago..realized how addicted i am to the manual transmission..
Oh God, left leg was searching for the clutch while the right hand was trying to shift the gears...it was a horrible experience driving a sonata..
Gonna miss coupe, for the next 3 weeks -
49 degrees, blue sky. Red Mini got a bubble bath, two rounds with the fancy new wash mitt, removing a pretty thick salt crust. We cleaned the inside and washed the floor mats. Glass cleaned, fluids checked, all ready for a few more weeks before spring arrives for real and a full paint polish is due. 10 years of Florida sun have left the top surface a bit rough.

Drove it to meet a bunch of friends at Cars and Coffee...Then finished blacking it out and tinted the taillights. Gotta take advantage of the 65+ degree days in Ohio in February!!!

Took the Rat out with a vengeance today, with a small group of misfits...
We played around in the steep, tight and twisted canyons outside of Boulder for most of the day. It was the first time this year actually pushing it a little, but I had to limit myself to second gear, and still left the others playing catch up. [emoji12]
When we came down off of the under rated 15% grade that makes up Magnolia Road, we stopped at the bottom to let the new guys brakes cool, and a shiny new Toyota 4Runner TRD PRO pulled in to talk to us... Turns out the guy was a scout/producer for TFLcar (The Fast Lane) YouTube channel. After talking with him for about a half hour, they want to do a feature video on the Rat-MINI! [emoji2] He gave me his card, and said to call or shoot him an email as soon as I can so we can set up a filming day! [emoji12] I turned down two magazines after the Dragon last year, but this one, I'm going to go for. [emoji2]

Worked on Buzz a little tonight, we have a KC MINI Club event tomorrow nd I wanted to double check a few things before I go.
I had detailed the problems I had with the points eliminator kit, I sent it back to the seller and they sent me a new one and I installed it tonight. Bang! Car started perfectly and ran smoothly - so it wasn't me after all! A fellow can get paranoid when these electronical things that are supposed to be bullet proof and work right out of the box - don't.
Now all I need to do is get the timing set right, with the brake booster on there I can't get close to seeing the marks on the flywheel except with a mirror, then I have to hold it and the timing light just right to be able to see anything, then I need a third hand to rev the motor! Then I have to remember the numbers are mirror image too and try and figure out what number I'm actually seeing! It's a challenge, to say the least - but I'll get er done......
