Drove it to go see Dead Pool. It was great but completely different kind of "super hero" movie. Completely sarcastic. Kind of like the first Airplane movie was. Not one to talk the young children to.

Drove it to PT today. 70º and a beautiful day for a drive. Now 370 miles into the break-in on the new motor.

Drove the wife's S today and just got back from a drive with the Cooper...gotta take the Cooper out as it has all seasons and the other 2 still have the snows on [soon to be taken off, I hope]. Still a bit early to plan on the latter, though.

Sunday I took the Rat-MINI down to Fort Carson to see my friends one last time before they headed to Iraq.
It was a long and sad day, but was nice getting to see everyone together.
I even stopped at the front gate and took a few pictures with a tank... [emoji12]
Now with them gone, I should be back to posting here as usual. [emoji2] -
Spent money on both Minis - supplies for SC oil change, new brakes all around on the red one, rear rotors on the gray car, lots of ATE brake fluid for two full flushes, stainless steel lines front and rear on the red car, for the rear on my car, transmission oil, O-rings for all the usual leak spots, thermostat housing, etc - stuff adds up quickly even if you shop around. Going to get started with rear brakes on one car once I get the brass bushings and figure out what to do with the pads on that one (Wilwood up front, stock in rear, no idea what type pads are on the car, but I probably should get new pads when changing all rotors, even though they still look like 80%)

Today was fantastic. My MINI was chosen by a MINI parts dealer to represent R56S's on their website. Give em a look see- Double Clutch Auto Worx From the looks of it they're a new store. I don't know much about DDM works, but that's most of what they're selling.

Got a box with a passenger side window regulator and a new ac accumulator/drier in it. My poor dog will be devastated if she can't hang out the window on the way to the dog park. Repairs begin tomorrow.

Congrats! DDM has good parts, they just don't make very many... Are they giving you a discount off of your first purchase? -

Picked up a set of these yesterday and I plan to install them today...
The construction is fantastic... Nothing like what Champion makes...
Their construction looks like fine jewelry...

That's too pretty to put in your engine. Hang that thing from your rear view mirror. It will make a great G meter.
