    Cleaned off some bird poop.

    Love Spring, but hate all the crap that ends up on the MINI. :frown2:

    Installed some Osram Rallye's, got the title switched over, registered and ran some errands.

    Discovered when i went to put my plates on that the holes don't match on the hatch lid....is there suppose to be some kind of frame or bracket for the license plate? PO just drilled holes in his plate to fit.

    So i ordered one, can't believe they're $35-40! Yeesh.

    Fouled a Brisk spark plug. It had been 10k miles. Don't really feel like doing that again so I went with NGK 1422 plugs instead.

    I'm new here, but judging by everyone's else's responses to you i'm guessing you probably washed it after the oil change because other people's finger prints were on it?

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Nope, I dropped it off today for the work to be done tomorrow. They wanted to make sure they got my car inside and locked up before they closed for the day.

    I am the D in OCD. :lol: then again my car does not look 11 years old. :Thumbsup:

    Hmmm. What did I do with my Mini today? Not much, but...
    Made a quick trip to town today to pick up lunch. When I got home I noticed a piece of tubing lying in the passenger floor. Have no idea where it came from, but assume it was under the dash somewhere. Searched the number, but couldn't find it anywhere. Called the dealer parts guy and he asked for pictures. Waiting to hear back from them. Anyone ever seen one of these?

    EDIT: Found it in a couple of threads on the other site and on realoem.com.
    It is the A/C duct that bleeds air into the glove box. I had a feeling that was what I'd find. Another nitnoy item to add to the list for my next trip to the dealer.

    What do you mean? :confused5:
    Other than replacing the rear shocks I haven't had any problems. Unless you count the new engine. :D

    Got up early to go take some pictures with my medium format camera. The birds seem to have liked the mini, it is now covered in bird droppings!

    Don't let it sit on the paint very long.... MINI paint thickness is pretty thin and those droppings will eat through the paint pretty fast....
