Drove it to my sister's place to borrow her CRV to pick up a new (used) sunroof for the MINI.
Thanks again Zillon.

Fortunately/unfortunately, I have only one more long distance tow left for the year, so it looks as if the Cooper will get it. -

Took the 11 Countryman to the dealer on Thursday, it was puddling a little slick fluid in the garage. Turned out the water pump was going bad, a weep through the weep hole, just enough. I knew it was not oil, oil was black as tar at 8 months, water pump out at 51,650 or so.
Extended warranty replaced the water pump, oil was changed on my dime, V-belt was getting frayed, changed on my dime. I got out for $299 and a bit of change. Good god labor is high at the MINI stores. The $$ include my pay out of $50 deductible for the gold 100K warranty. Hope to get the 11 to 90K, it is paid for.....
As an aside, Pat had to drive my Park Lane, she really, really likes it, said something about swapping MINIs. Nope!

Drove my Classic 10 laps around Buttonwillow this afternoon during the lunch break. Next best thing to being the real deal...

It started on Friday. After getting most of the adhesive off the roof from the flag there was some kind of over spray all over the paint and windows of the car, this was Monday, washing would not remove it. So I had to drive to work and leave it. Now Friday. I went and got some 3M adhesive remover and got the rest of the flag off. I found out the 3M stuff would also get the other stuff off the paint, so I went over the hole car. Then washed it with Dawn dish washing soap.
Some revive Dave!
So Saturday I get up to clay and wax the car but decided I would do the Dave.0 plastic treatment first. So I did the first coat and clayed and waxed the roof and tail gate as the plastic dried.
I had to stop because my daughters car needed an alternate replaced.
So here it is Sunday and I am still cleaning on my car!
I must be channeling you Dave! -

Started the MINI after a dead battery (some idiot left the lights on). Put the trailer mostly together. And it's a beautiful day out ,so, screw cleaning, I'm going driving...
