Changed the earl in my little roadster & completed an under car & brake inspection. The brakes look new, I better drive harder. My smoothness is something my brakes like.

I plan to go over to my buddy's at the local Discount tire for a balance & rotation. My car rides so smooth now. I'm a bit worried it won't be after a new balance. Meotters are very sensitive to wheel balance. What do you guys think?

Added some eye lids and started un-dipping and replacing said dip with vinyl wrap. Headlight rings are done, the rest will be done this weekend. She also gets an alignment this afternoon.

 

Where does one get said eye lids? I'm torn on if I like it or not...

 

Just use vinyl in your choice of color... Takes like 10 minutes...

Ditto. Makes me think of vinyl eyelashes.

 

There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's not too bad. When using the heat gun less is more, but there's a bunch of 3M videos on the youtubes that help with techniques on how to work the vinyl. The headlight rings were harder to do then the headlights. A little patients goes a long way when working with this stuff. It definitely looks better than dip.

I refer to my car as a she, but SHE is a bull-dyke so SHE will never wear eyelashes. Give her a cutoff flannel amd cargo shorts then maybe.

 

Where did you get the vinyl you're using for the wrap?

 

Amazon, it's a gloss 3M Vinyl. I just ordered some more from Amazon, but went with the brand Vivid. Gonna redo what I've already done since it was my first attempt at vinyl. Turned out pretty good, but I think the next time around will be better.

 

Growing my family gave cars and boats girl names, and trucks boy names. We had alot of Buicks, Oldsmobiles and at least 3 Z28's at one point :beer

 

My wife named her new one Beatrix - after Beatrix Kiddo in Kill Bill.

The last one was named Nigel - after Nigel Powers.

I don't name my cars. And if I do, it's not with human names. The Egg. Project R53. The GP. Etc. :lol:

The Mistress in not a "she", the car is a "Evil B!tch" and she acts like one. :devil:

I point and LMFAO every time I see cars with silly eyelashes on them. They are just as stupid as antlers and red noses on cars at Christmas.
