I'm detailing mine outside in the rain now.
Claying in this misty drizzle then I'll give it another dish soap wash and roll it into the garage for some polishin'.

I let Mother Nature wash all the pollen off mine today. Now waiting until NM opens tomorrow so I can order a set of wheels. Still on the fence between Brembo/JCW and Wildwood BBK system.

I think mine ate something or the motor is going - sounds a little off all of a sudden.
Works great for blowing the water out of the cracks though. -
Found a motoring road.....sorry....I wasn't driving the MINI but will definitely do it some other day.

I gave up on my old battery today. I've charged it long enough and it's still tits up. Off to procure a new one tomorrow.

Finished polishing my car, wiped it all down with oil and polish oil remover so I could put my first layer of Kamikaze Miyabi Coat. http://www.esotericcarcare.com/kamikaze-miyabi-coat/
Next is a layer of Kamikaze ISM Coat: http://www.esotericcarcare.com/kamikaze-ism-coat/ -

Got my S back on Monday.
New front brake pads and rotors, a new front right caliper, and replaced the rear, rusted out lines. The S just needs to be packed with cigars and other stuff before we leave to MOTD on Tuesday. :cornut:

Getting the wheels re balanced. Adding them tire letters added some weight to one side and I need her rolling smooth for next weekend! The shop is charging me 60 f'n dollars. When I said the words Cooper S he had to look at my car to make sure it's something they could do. It's balancing some wheels! How hard can it be? Says the guy who's n'er done such a thing, but Makes me wonder what they've run in to servicing these cars... Anyways, HAPPY MOTORING KIDS!

Just replaced my coolant overflow tank - glad I did, it was the original dated back to August of 2006.
Time to change the transmission oil now. -
Nothing like removing the original tank, dated to 2006. -
During my wheel balancing the guys at the local Pep Boys here they pulled me into the shop to show me that I had a bent wheel. It wasn't all that noticeable but they found this out and showed me and it's the wheel that was allegedly replaced following my mishap with a pothole. I suspected they(Classic Collision in Union City) didn't really change it or exchanged it with a "refurbished" wheel. Since that wheel being replaced I've had 4 new tires installed at Kauffman in Fayetteville. About a week following I brought the car in to have them re-balanced due to the shaking. Not once did anyone there even hint that there was something wrong with any of my wheels, even when they chewed up 3 out of 4 installing the tires. My wheels were PERFECT mind you. What's the moral of this story? Kauffman Tire sucks and have lost a good customer. Now I get to search for a new set O wheels
Oh, also, the tire balancer guy put the bent wheel in the rear so I feel 0 vibration now. He said all of the tires were WAY out of balance as well. I'm just amazed that a place that only does tires and tire related crap didn't notice a wobbly wheel. F'n millennials.

They blow at the seam after so much heat and pressure.
I'm about to drive this thing 11 hours south - not something I wanted to risk at 3am in the middle of VA.
