I'm tired of looking at it sitting in the garage waxed, detailed, semi loaded with stuff for MOTD. Tues. can't come quick enough.

I'm picking up my buddy around 8:30 and we'll head on down to that Rest Area...should be there between 10 and 10:30ish. By then, the morning coffee will have worked its way thru my system and I'll NEED that stop...LOL

I'm bringing my S...it's Royal Grey and has dragon orange holeys and a dragon on the sunroof [pretty easy to spot].

Stopped by yesterday yesterday to visit the car again. Suspension and maintenance done. Now onto the body work. Apparently it had been hit in the rear corner before I bought it, and poorly repaired. Getting it done right, and all of the trim smoothed and painted. 7 weeks is a long time, but that's what you get when it's a side project...

Re-routed my main battery cable, because the moron who built the car didn't get it quite right. Much better now. Eliminated some things that went bump in the night.

Replaced a bad o2 sensor. Test drove. All good.

Touched up some paint on the roll cage. Worked on my cosmetics punch list.

Did a little needlework on the tonneau cover.

Checked the fit of my donut spare, and mounted it in the car.

    Started packing tools and stuff.

Final packing, washed the truck, mowed the grass...

Time to unload the dishwasher while my hair dries from showering and hit the hay for the next 3 hours.

Can't wait to hit the road.

Today I install the Greene Performance coolant tank along with a coolant change. The tank is a very nice design and dropped right in to the current location!

Also installed a new idler, tensioner, and belt.

I bet the last time it was washed was by me at the Dragon last year before your photoshoot, right before it ended up on Chads trailer for a trip back to Detroit.

Yesterday but still: Tried to do the LCA rear bushings and even after buying a very tall Pickle Stick (or whatever it's called) and 5 hours, LOTS of liquid wrench i could not get the control arm free of the inside bolt. Any tips?

Buffed the car and found that the side paint and roof are good, front is atrocious.

Wa(r)shed it, while the rest of the "crew" was driving towards Fontana. [emoji20]

Going to miss being there this year.

Was finally able to install a Helix SSK with NM-Eng cover today. I didn't have any complaints about the shifter before, but I am impressed with this setup. No notchy feeling, just solid crisp shifts.

I'm not sure what you mean by inside bolt, but I've had the best luck doing this job by dropping the subframe - that way you can easily reach everything and get the proper torque on the fasteners or the right tool to pull something apart

Post a pic of what you're having trouble with and we can help better....

Drove 600 + miles today and I am spending the night at Confort Suits in Alcoa. I am only 1 hour away from Fontana.

Have Fireworks?... Yes I Do !
