On my way to the kids' taekwondo practice today, I creamed a bird who thought it was a good idea to fly directly in my path. My roadkill cherry on the MINI has officially been popped.

 

Skid plate repainted and put back on the car. Bottom matches the top

 

Pat is flying back after a 2 week visit to the grandkids in Virginia, I filled the tank and washed her Countryman so she could enjoy a clean MINI versus a Ford Explorer full of grandkids. She is stuck in Atlanta, hopefully she will get to fly soon.

It was a long day when she started out from Richmond, I really doubt she will notice the clean MINI, but she will be home.

MCS02, now that is a stellar present, nice bow. I am sure she will enjoy.

We got to open the roof today... Then the monsoon hit.... So we ran to the garage ..... Finally got her running right

13.2 gallons of Shell V-Power @ $2.48.9 A gallon...410 miles. God loves me...I had .5 gallon left in the tank! Wooohoooo!

 

I washed 'em both... Only after I'd completed the white British sedan, though. She refuses to have the hand car wash guys touch it anymore.

 

Detailed and vacuumed.

 

I finished off a 20 hour detail.

My car has been sitting out side since Friday so I took it for an early morning run to lowes. After I got back I washed it and parked it outside.

I have been keeping the car I am detailing in my garage where my MINI sits.

 

You need a bigger garage Dave. Says the guy whose wife's MINI sits outside 365 days a year.

 

Sat next to it in the garage and had a beer.
