In the shop for a new a/c compressor and glue the headliner back up in front of the driver visor.
Might just need the compressor clutch coil, but why do just that when the compressor
is already 13 years old and getting weaker and noisier* anyway.

*actually, it's now pretty damn quiet now that it won't engage!

Mine has been in the garage since last Tuesday. I've been in a rental car for business. The rental goes back tomorrow. I have to drive my car to the other side of Dallas tomorrow to photograph a Cord. I was supposed to shoot a 1934 Cadillac, a much prettier car, IMO, but the customer has a Cord fetish.

The Cord is black, so I'll be shooting in the evening, which means driving in rush hour traffic, and working late.

At least I can charge 50-cents a mile, and being rush hour, the distance is longer. It is a weird quirk of physics.

Here in Dallas, if you park a car for too long, even in the garage, mice and rats move in -- and really mess up your wiring. :cryin:

Took my CM to the SPA which was for me, it is a much better afternoon/evening now and I enjoyed my short drive. :) Need to do some mountain roads soon, now that most are open again, fires are at 80% contained.

It has been smokey around here.

    :)

Not so much rain here, but one county over (southern Lancaster Co.)
got over 3 inches in a few hours late yesterday afternoon, and Adams
County (on the other side of York Co.) got a lot, too.

Pulled the MINI into the shop this morning...

Jacked the rear up, threw some sheets of cardboard down on the floor...

Got out the air powered grease gun and re-lubed the Hotchkis lower control arms....

    I'm all "lubed up" now....:D

A Hemi Jeep decided to pick on a MINI this morning. I'm sure next time he comes upon one he'll just leave it alone.

Why yes, Yes I am :cornut: That name stems from my childhood days in the arcade. Back in the old-ish days of video games you had to use 3 digits when you broke a record on a racing game, or any game for that matter. At my arcade someone else also had the initials HCK. I started using QIK because I QIKed everyones a$$ :)

Last night was a great night and a rare time that someone may have seen my car in the city of Filthadelpha.
I drove my MINI down to South Philly and went to the Guns & Roses Concert.

Thanks to the effing DNC getting ready at the FU center next door we had to park about a mile away from the Link and it was over 90 degrees with 80% humidly.

All was ok when GnR hit the stage at 9:40 pm for almost a 3 hour set and I got home about 2:15 am. :cornut::devil::cornut::devil::cornut::devil:
