Thanks Jeff! Hopefully I'll see you down there in May... We can have a stogie or three on the new front porch. [emoji2][emoji106]

I already have a box set aside for you...housewarming gift, at least...in addition to the couple we'll smoke in the meantime.

I'll probably pass near your new place on my way in, since I'll be coming in via the Skyway and Robbinsville.

Nice! I finally found a shop in the Denver area that has the KWF MUATs... bought them out of all the HamHocks they had the other day waiting for my guys to return home from Iraq.

If I get the house I've been obsessed with since it went on the market in June, and you take 28 into Fontana from Robbinsville, you'll pass right by the place! [emoji23] It's tucked back up in the woods behind the church on Sweetwater road right before you start going up the hill.

Thanks Jeff! I'll put up more info about the house in an upcoming thread when I get down there and buy it... It's going to be a close race though, the seller is going to sign a year long lease to the current tenants if I don't have an offer in before February 1st! The deal doesn't close on my place here in Denver until January 20th so it's going to be a mad dash across the country when the $$$,$$$.$$ hits my bank account... Hoping the weather holds out so I can make it!

Take the BMW and drive fast my brother.

    Or

They have these cool things now called airplanes that can fly and land in Louisville TN then you can rent a car and drive over to NC which is only 1 hour away.:lol::lol::lol:

Good luck Rick and safe travels.

Is there a Louisville, TN, or are you thinking of Knoxville?

I priced out flights in November and it was something like $600 round trip to fly into Knoxville or $500 for Atlanta... then another $700 to rent a car for two weeks!

I would rather pay $400 in Gas, and drive it!

Still trying to save all that I can, the hotel costs are going to be bad enough.

Turned out to be the thermostat housing. Glad it failed in my garage and not en route MOTD.
Unfortunately, the shop used the last one in stock the Friday before New Years and owing the the holiday, could not reorder until today as the warehouse was closed.

That is what I put on the FiST in November. Haven't had much snow to test them in yet, but do really like their performance in the wet so far (disclaimer: haven't really pushed them in any conditions beyond my boring 20 miles round trip work commute).

All seasons are good and especially those, but if you plan to be running thru snow and ice, you'd be wise to invest in some snow tires since they cut thru that stuff. Even Robbinsville gets some nasty crap now and then. Better safe than sorry, IMHO.

I've had good luck with Nitto Neo Gens as they are made for lowered cars. They are listed as all seasons [M+S] but I have seen them listed on some sites as a summer tire, too [confusing]. they stick well and are a great rain tire, too. I don't know if they are available in an 18" tire, though.

They're for the BMW, just need a good all season with a decent mileage warranty... (We know how fast the Dragon and surrounding areas can eat a set of tires in no time, so it's pretty much buy one get one free) Not really too worried about the little bit of snow Robbinsville actually gets, it's definitely not worth the expense of new wheels and dedicated snows.

I just hope I can get them ordered and delivered to the Canyon City CO store fast... I'm kinda pinched for time once I go down there.
