Washed all the pollen off the MINI yesterday, only to wake up and find it full of pollen again

Crashton Club CoordinatorSo you don't have justa Cayman. It's a PCS!

Here you go.... Taken with a potato camera down in Tennessee...
The really great part about bringing it home was that we took SR 23 north through Pikeville and Paintsville to Chillicothe and on into Columbus... Roads I've been on with Chuck and Babs.... Not the "Tail of the Dragon" but more the "Tail of the Salamander".... Still loads of fun... We were coming through some of the hollows and people were burning wood in their fireplaces with the smoke wafting along the valleys... Pretty cool run...

I think you mean PDK, if you are referring to the dual clutch manumatic.
Also, Metalman, I was asking if it is a Cayman S, or a base Cayman. From your reply, I'm guessing it is a Cayman S.
I've driven hundreds of Porsches in my job, and I really like the Cayman S. The mid-engine configuration is easier to drive fast than the rear engine 911, IMO.

What I did today.... Nothing MINI related, but I did get the roadster out drop the top & take a nice back road drive. It felt so good, spring is here & I'm happy. :smile5:

I got my Roadster out for a spin today too Chuck! And, I got my 70 out for a burn yesterday, as well.
God I'm glad the rains have passed for a bit. Only the Ides of March remain... -

Please tell us you don't really play a Rockflite! -

I dropped mine back at the dealership to have a few things cared for. They gave me a loaner Clubman S. This one is soooo much nicer than the 3cyl justa I got last time. I could see myself getting one of these to use as the family truckster.

I had to Google that. I don't play golf. I hate playing golf. I just happened to have a golf ball in the infamous "junk drawer."
That thing is probably 25 years old, maybe more. It is no doubt one of the very few golf balls I didn't lose when I pretended to play golf.

Loving the Cayman tidbits...yum, what a damn fine looking vehicle!
Otherwise, I am in the middle of replacing the e-brake cables on my 2004 R53 in MN (corrosion is prevalent)
Making progress as the passenger side has been fitted with the replacement cable but not yet adjusted. Hoping to not have to break out the MAP torch for the driver side but its being a PIP not releasing from the caliper...Soaking with PB Blaster....:arf: -
Sweet! Congrats! CHKMINI where's your Porsche?? [emoji6] [emoji6] [emoji6]

This isn't a shot from today, but did a decent detail and this is basically the result on the outside. Getting ready to sell if anyone is interested! Got me a new MINI, it ain't a Metalman Porsche, but I am sure he and I are equally as stoked!

Details about the R53 and history about the car will help sell it. Good luck.

The new dipstick I ordered off of Amazon for $5 arrived. So the broken one has been replaced.

Note that the original MINI dipstick has a string or something inside so if it broke (like this one did) I wouldn't have fragments of plastic in my oil pan.
I am not sure the new one is like that. So I will probably still go back to my MINI dealer and get an original one. Not sure I want to spend $100 (CDN) for an ultimate dipstick from Cravenspeed or someone though. -
Sooo...They went to the trouble of building in a means of retrieval for when the part breaks rather than making one that wont break? : face palm :
