If I decide not to do it myself, DT will be the way (no pun intended) to go.

Took mine out for a spin for the first time in a week. Not real happy with the condition of the road in front of my house now. Wednesday through Friday VDOT used my little two lane country road as the main bypass route for the busiest east/west 4 lane highway in southern VA. Nonstop semi's day and night for three days. Road is too narrow for trucks to pass without one of them putting the right side wheels on the shoulder. After three days of this the sides of the road is nothing but chunks of crushed asphalt. All VDOT did was fill in the holes with gravel. There are stretches that may as well be called a gravel road it's so bad. I'm on the horn with VDOT first thing in the morning. If they don't repave this road ASAP I'm calling our dumbarsed guvner. Of course this part of the state's a little too red for him to give a crap about.
Rant off... :mad5::mad2:
On a better note, the Mini is running well. Once I get the oil changed and adjust the tire pressures I'm ready for the Dragon. :cornut: -

Car's all packed...leaving in the morning around 7:30 to pick up my roomie about 45 miles away. This will give me a good idea how the Cooper runs with its new tires in the rain...gonna be a long, LONG drive and I PRAY it's just rain that we encounter down I-75.

Replaced front, drivers side brake pad wear sensor, although Akebono pads still have plenty of life on them. Sensor light came on after this happened. Light still on, will check rear passenger side tomorrow when I get home from work.

Just finished loading the car. Now I'm just sitting around drinking coffee until it's time to check my copilot out of school. Couldn't talk his Mom into letting him miss two full days of school. So, we'll be stopping at a lady friends place outside Asheville for Dinner and the night and should pull into Fontana bright and early tomorrow. Although, from listening to the weather guessers it'll be more wet than bright.
