Love being out in the first fresh snow of the year..

 

Took my MINI out for a 100-ish mile drive, and filled the tank for the first time since early November..

 

Picked one of these up a week or so ago.

Havent used it yet for anything real beyond peeking around a bit on my 2012 Clubman.
Battery registration and identifying Check engine codes before taking it to my repair guy was my primary motivation for getting it.

 

Quick lunchtime wash/wax for the Clubman.. This gets the least love of my toys and really needed a cleaning
.

The MINI logo fell off, so I temporarily fixed it..

 

Gave the Clubman a much needed interior vacuum..

Looks so much better now.

 

Here's some pictures I took with my camera. I took a lot more with my new phone and as soon as I can find out how to get the dam think works I'll post them.

 

Had a friend come help me detail changed antenna to stubby and put the S on grill~~ and yes those are 18’s

 

So today was adding a little bit more red it was a little bit too blacked out so I added some new S on wheels and new front & rear emblems! Just a touch more red to go with the JCW calipers!

 

I haven't been on here much of late. I've been looking after my parents and trying to get them moved into a seniors care home. However, I did make time to take the Mini/MINI clubs from the Vancouver BC area to drive the Pacific Marine Circle on Vancouver Island.

Father's Day Special...
The MINI got a 5K oil and filter change... Outside temperature @86F

 

In the garage today...
The service reminder lights on the dash of my 2009 MINI Cooper suggests 2 yr brake fluid change...
Pulled out my handy dandy moisture checker, installed a fresh AAA battery...


Did a quick check and the fluid is still checking OK at <1%, but I'll go ahead and do a flush soon and check my pad thickness at the same time...

Got a recall notice for my sweetie's MINI yesterday. Sounds like the sunroof drains could leak and cause corrosion in an electrizicle thingy-bob. May cause a thermal event.

Seems the fix is in, they will do a colonoscopy on the sunroof drain and look at the electrizicle part to see if it is corroded enough for replacement.

 

We have a dealer that is going to sponsor a night at the drive in to show The Italian Job. They will take 170 cars.

 

My MINI turned eighteen today.

 

Today, I'm organizing for the Vancouver MINI Cooper Club to go for a drive and then GoKart racing on the morning of October 6. If anybody on here is near the Vancouver BC area, you are welcome to join us.



It has been quite awhile since we've done this.

 

Amazing Stuff! WOWZER!

 

Gave GIR as bath Sunday. I wipe down with towels and hit the wheels, grills, sideviews and emblems with the leaf blower.

 

Cold drive this morning, but at least I had my hoodie on..

 

Finally got a chance to clean the salt and crud off my Clubman
