I'm sure Dave O was running 64.9.

Spent the morning giving the spa treatment to the little roadster that lives here. Nothing prettier that a spankin clean car. :D

I spent my time in the garage for 5 hours polishing my MINI. Yesterday I washed, clayed and washed it again.

Left the Runt at home and took the Helmet to work. All day no rain. Then on the way home it rains! Time for a bath.

Crossed a mileage milestone and coughed up a check engine light code of P0136.

Took her down to get a new O2 sensor installed.

Painted the M7 strut tower brace and took some goo gone to the JCW intercooler cover, removing the gunk that the gasket leaves.

MINI is still in the garage so I ceramic glass coated it and it's getting cured now under the heat from lights for the night. I am going to do a second coat tomorrow after work.

    1. Michelin 215x 40 x 18 Pilot Sport A/S 3+ Tires. Nicest tires I have ever had. Smooth quiet more grippy than previous ones. They have new rubber compound.

    2. 84 k on the clock. Replaced Power Steering pump and cooling fan with OEM - not rebuilt. I had three episodes of steering failure and the motor whined continously.

I've been channeling my inner Dave the detailer. Tuesday & Wednesday were clean the roadster & lay a coat of Rejex on it. Done & beautiful. Today was warsh the German bread-van & lay a coat of Sonax Speed Wax on. Done, beautiful & slicker than snot. :D

Then a back road drive on a wonderful day in the roadster to one of our favorite little lunch places. Life is good with my sweetie by my side. :goaljnky

MINI content>>>> Tomorrow is clubman day in the garage.

I stood in the Kroger parking lot trying to unlock my car with the fob. None of the buttons worked. C'mon, man, work.

Suddenly noticed the roof racks. I don't have roof racks. I look around. My car is two rows over. :nonod:

Other than the roof racks, exactly like my car.

    CD

Talked my wife into doing her first 'rally' today (other than the centipede MINI Club type of 'rally').

Only if the MINI is moving away from a stationary object. If you want more speed moving toward a stationary object, you need more blue on You MINI.
