Did nothing with my car today. It's raining today and tomorrow.

 

A twisty road drive is just what you need. :yesnod:

The rain is through here & headed to Dave's house. :smilewinkgrin:

 

The rain has stopped for a little bit so maybe I will go out for a drive today.

 

I didn't do anything to her today, the dealer did Ethel's delivery prep. We pick her up at 4:30 Tomm.

Nothing new with Bitsy, but I did FINALLY buy me a Bentley manual Got sick of googling how to's and not being happy with results. Also, I love accurate torque specs :beer Most expensive damn repair manual I've ever purchased. Hope it's worth it!

 

I finally, after 2 years plus, put the under battery box metal thing back on my car.

Oh and I also fixed my headlights that were not auto leveling. The fix was unplug the two sensors and clean the crud out of the connectors and put some dielectric grease on them. All fixed for free. :ihih:

 

I love free fixes!

 

Yeah this weekends job fix is not going to be free. I plan on replace Supercharger, throttle body and bypass valve and a couple of sensors.

Even old MINI's need maintenance love.

I 100% believe if you take care of your car it will run well forever.

 

I agree Dave. It's work, but man is worth it.

 

Took my 16 Park Lane Countryman down for an oil change and the other necessary bits, Schomp MINI was super efficient today, drop off at 10:30, done and out of there by 11:35.

Looked at the Countryman SE, looks interesting, but you would need to really want a town grocery car, not sure I would plunk 42K out for one.

My friends Umberto and Vera brought over their new Alfa Romeo Giulia Sedan, RED, black leather, Sport upgrades, the TI model with Q4 (4 wheel drive), it is sweet. Goes well with the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport with the Z06 package in the front garage. GS has 400 miles in 10 months, I hope the Alfa gets driven a bit more, I have high hopes.

I take down the 09 JCW HT which as 3620 miles for it's oil change and other maintenance, perhaps I can get Schomp to bag the old oil since I know it does not have any miles on it.

The 09 JCW has a RMW tune and will just hold with a bit left at 155mph on our test track near the house.

And yes Dave.O we know real cars don't have power cords. I threw that in the pic just for you. My wife said it reminds her of one of her friends BMWs inside. I wonder why???

Put the plate holder on Ethel and the parking alarms went off. I think I messed up on the order. However, the Cravenspeed team is awesome and the extender we need is on the way no questions asked.

 

It was collector car appreciation day. Went and checked out the Minis.

 

Changed the earl in Skooby the little brown clubster. New air filter too. Now to replace yet another dead TPMS sensor. I really dislike those, can't change the dead battery in them. Oh boy! :incazzato:

Found out that the Mini doesn't play well with IOS 11 Beta. At least mine doesn't. :nonod:
