Washed the 2 R53s and Wrangler. Vacuumed all. Conditioned the leather. And added Renew Protect on the arches. So hot out!

The Fiat lives across the street from me and the Camaro belongs to a coworker. We've been trying to get together for a drive for a while and finally made it happen. Today I learned that a stock JCW mini on run flats will walk away from a 500 arbarth in technical twisties(the kid is a stinking good driver, so I don't think that's the reason)but not so much from a Camaro SS [emoji23]. We all had a great time.

Tires are first on the list, then maybe a fatter rear sway bar.

The Abarth is a fun car, but it doesn't hold a candle to a MCS much less a JCW.

Dropped her off at the ATL International terminal park and ride. She'll be under cover till Friday. Happy 4th!

Taking Peppurr in to the dealer today to have the airbag warning mat replaced in the front seat. This was done within the last 2 years under the recall and should be covered under warranty. We'll see.... (I don't play well with the local dealer)

Exactly why we just traded my wife's Countryman for a Crosstrek.
Local dealer changed service writers and service manager.
The new bunch are twenty-somethings who are not customer focused and could not care less whether or not you have a halfway decent experience.
In the past, you could elicit the sales department to put some pressure on service to try to keep repeat business; however, unfortunately, due to recent changes in the sales department, they couldn't care less either.
MINI ftl (for the loss)

Won't be long now. It's a tough wait for sure, but totally worth it.

Washed my car and removed all the bugs from last nights trip to see fireworks.

I remember years ago a transport sinking with a load of MINIs, I think it was in the first Gen days. But I thought man I would hate to be tracking that boat with my car on it and that happen. :mad2: The crew was safe.
I am sure yours will be fine!:biggrin5: Every time I have read your post about tracking your MINI I have thought of that boat.
No need to thank me, I am glad to help.:biggrin5: -

Did nothing with my car today. It's raining today and tomorrow.

So it's 4:30 and I am waiting on my flight home. The plan for when I hit home at 9 is take a nape, I've been up all night and am to old to push through. When I get up I plan on washing, clay and wax the wife's convertible. Then get the helmet out of the garage, the rain is past and headed for Dave, and go drive some twisty roads.
