Today I corrected / repaired my Aquamist HFS-6 Meth system that was not showing proper flow on the gauge only since last week when I did my new boost gauge install. :incazzato:
I must have bumped flow control valve electronics last weekend causing the issue. On the flow control board here is a little 1/8" or smaller squarish chip that sits in the recess of the flowsensor tube. The little chip was not close enough it wont sense the turbine spinning and would not show the flow on the gauge. Everything is back to working 100% now. I am just waiting for my 1.0 jet to go with my new RMW Grand Am CAM, ViPEC and wide band O2 to add a lot more Tq and HP. RMW POWER FTW!
I can't wait to get away from the limits of the silly OEM Siemens/BMW/MINI ECU.
Word of advice, never start modding a MINI because you will never stop. :ihih::lol::lol::lol:

Filled up Skooby with 8 gallons of hydrocarbons. Now Babs will do her best to empty the tank.

Pulled the car out of the garage, cleaned the wheels, washed the car and tucked it back in the garage for the week.

Still waiting on the front grill piece for mine. Hoping my JCW will be done before the long trip to Tulsa, OK next weekend.
In the meantime I bought a front license plate bracket that screws into the tow hook threading in anticipation of having my JCW home. -
Last night she got a much needed bath

Will heading to Franklin, Tennessee for a few days, leaving in a couple of hours. Our first trip in the car and we are anxious to see how it does.

After changing oil on the new car, and instead of finishing up the subframe on the car that's been sitting on jacks for almost a month now, I got sucked into cleaning the new car. And as usual, one thing led to another...
clean car - only recovered $0.02 in lost coins and two safety pins. Seats will need a good wash and I am still debating how to best do that while they are out of the car.
Do you really need to replace the seat rail mounting bolts on re-install like the Bentley manual tells me? These bolts look perfectly fine to me -

You should have seen me blot off 12 years worth of hardened lady's hand cream from the steering wheel. The detailing brush was just foaming it up... Strangely satisfying to have that leather friction return from a state of hardened gripless teflon.
Then you try just a little corner of the the dash. When and see grime foam up from the plastic texture, you can't stop yourself. Next thing you know, you are working your way across the dash, one 6x6" square after another.
Sidenote - still looking for a vanity plate idea. "OCD" is already taken in my state. DAVEOJR should be available
I still have half a car to go with just that brush. Carpet and seats will meet the hot water extractor next. Rear seats won't go back in. Need to find some decent black carpet for a DIY rear seat delete lid like in my dark gray R53 -

I detailed a Subaru Outback this past weekend and steering wheel was gray from all the damn hand cream. It was easy to take off and when she saw the car I told her steering wheel was really Black not gray. Also had to clean the door handle and wiper and turn signal stalks because the were also gray.
I told her lay off the hand lotion, you have an issue. -

When I went out to my car this morning, it looked like it had dandruff. There were many tiny specks of ash from the forest fires in eastern Washington. I keep the car in a carport, but the ash got on it anyway.
It all blew off when I drove it. -
There aren't enough hours in the day to go over that new car... Last night I spent another 3 hours cleaning the interior plus the hatch gasket area. Almost done with that except for the carpet refresh. Cabin air filter was 12 years old... :frown2:
The driver side door puddle light has no wire leading to it. Connecting that with a printout found in the glove box that describes window lifter replacement, I assume that was the door the work was done on, and somebody disconnected the light. Was too lazy to pull the door card just for that, but it is on the to do list. I will need new door levers - the same hand lotion gunk that was on the wheel seems to have partially dissolved the black plastic actuator in the door handle
Hope to get to the front seats today - my Bissel wet carpet cleaner with small hand unit is standing by. wished you could rent the pro gear, but all you can find are the large carpet-only units without the small wand you'd want for a car detail. -

Drove mine an hour west to attend a European car show with my oldest daughter. There were Porsche's, BMW's, Citroen's and even an orange Lamborghini Muria. Her favorite was a red MG T-type. I guess she's about the right size to drive it. Today was a great day to get out and drive.

Took mine out of the garage today to run a few errands. Nice cool weather with a perfectly working meth kit is a lot of fun to drive with grippy tires on. :cornut::ihih:
FedEx showed up with my new ViPEC and innovative O2 wide band. Now I am waiting on my new RMW CAM.
Car will get a nice bump of RMW power this winter.
