You have to compare zip codes, these days, since nobody lives where they are from, anymore.
I live in a well educated, well compensated zip code. What's the zip code for Camden?
Oh, nothin' exciting happening with my MINI today. I picked up a few groceries. Woohoo!

Since the weather has changed significantly the last few days, I got the low tire warning light this morning, so I drug the air hose outside and topped them all up.
The bride and I just went for a pizza (Ummm, Minskys!) and all the lights were off again, so I musta got it right. -

Almost traded the R56 in this past weekend for a 2017 All4 Clubman S with a 6 spd (SUPER good deal, exec. demo). What the hell is wrong with me....?
Other than that scare, Bitsy is running great, feeling great since having both control arm bushings in. -

Did my end of summer 5,000 mile oil and oil filter change....
My MINI will soon be put away for winter hibernation.... It doesn't like that salty mess....
It will sleep hooked up to my battery tender.... Still original battery going on 9 years soon...
My engine and transmission was nice and clean and dry with no oil leaks....
They did a mucher beta job sealing up the R56 engine than that old leaker of a R53....
With that, I'll exit stage left...

I'll have to agree with you, Babs little clubster seems to have less of a leaking issue that my R53 did. Although it has fewer houses so maybe the R53 leaks were from all the horses peeing?
It's sad that Fungo has to go in hibernation, but it's for his own good. :snowblower:
Hope you used the right oil.....

Hibernation? Snow? Winter? I'm so confused by these terms.

Today, I just got in and drove to work and enjoyed the burble of the exhaust and some good metal music. I still love driving this every day. -

Great day for a 350 mile round trip tp see Fall color, decorate family graves and get out and about with the wife, dog and her [the wife's] MCSa!

Today was kind of nasty up here in Dallas. Forties and rainy. I went to lunch and did some shopping, but I went with my neighbor in his F150 FX4 Crew Cab (Texas economy car), so my MINI stayed warm and dry in my garage.
My neighbor listens to country music, but like I said, my car stayed warm and dry (clean). A reasonable trade-off, IMO. :biggrin5:

Drove my MINI to work. Hard not to enjoy the sound of downshifting and passing someone on the freeway.

Not much today, but tomorrow my MINI goes back to airport parking -- covered, of course. I've got some cool cars to photograph this weekend, including a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. I hope I get to drive it.

I dusted off my car in the garage today because on Saturday she will sleep outside while I am detailing and coating a brand new Red 2017 Honda Civic Type R.

Had to use the horn on my wife's MCSa yesterday and it emits a real low, muted honk [sounds like a ruptured duck]. I guess it's time for a new horn. Are they 2-tone or what? What can I expect to pay for one? Are they hard to install? Questions abound....:confused5:

When I worked for a car magazine, this manufacturer sent me a demo kit to test out...

Our F150 SuperCrew gets 25+ on the highway! It's a pretty decent Georgia economy car too :cornut: Also, love me some ecoboost with the locking rear diff! :beer I don't believe country music has ever been played in this one.... Nothing new with the MINI. She continues to shred traffic with the best of em'

Crashton Club CoordinatorHope you don't get sick looking at that thing. It's a real dogs breakfast. Great performance:arf:, but looks not so much. :eek6:
