Got the Blizzaks on my wife's MCSa. If anyone needs snow tires on a car, it's her...any type of snow for her on even all seasons is a disaster waiting to happen!

That is just more firmer water, no harm done Vette. Your wax is doing a fine job of protection that nice grey paint. On the other hand DO NOT go plowing the roads. That's a splitter not a plow.

I shot a 1965 GT350 (yes, a real one) today, and the owner and I had a lot of the same friends. He let me do a shot of our cars together. Opposite color combinations -- I couldn't resist.

driving electric blue today to pick up my son from college. 330 miles on roads covered with salt dust from the last storm. Guess that's what I bought the car for, but it still hurts to do that to a Mini that has never seen salt in 12+ years.

Mine won't hit the road again until it rains enough to wash the chemicals off the road. I already have rust on the Suburban and don't worry about that as long as it keeps the rain out and the running gear holds up.

My poor MINI is stuck at the airport, again. I shot another GT350 today, but the colors were wrong, and my MINI wasn't there. I did find a cool location. I wish my MINI would have been with me. I would have shot it in the same place, with and without the other GT350.

I wasn’t home to do anything with my Mini the past few days. Just got back from a trip to Laughlin, NV, where I served as my Son’s pit crew during the Rage at the River off road racing event. Only running in his fourth event in three years, he was 10th after Saturday and WON the race yesterday! He took home the 4th place trophy in the 2000 Class.
What a great time we all had. Congratulations Lil Buddy! -

Washed the 11 Countryman in the driveway yesterday, fresh detail before Thanksgiving, it only needed a rinse and some tender work with Adam's waterless wash to get some of the road crud off the doors.
Shines like new, it is the wife's daily driver and our Dog MINI, not sure if I mentioned the 11's name is RocketDog.

Enjoy your clean car Don. It will be a while before I can wash any cars here.

I took my car out to CVS yesterday when it was warm (mid 30’s) and came home and locked it in the garage.
Today it’s was 19 with a 30 mph wind that made it feel like 2 degrees. WTF, where is the global warming now Al Gore ? -

Apparently we have it - 60* today - in Kansas?
In mid December? -
I didn't do much of anything today with my MINI, but tomorrow I have a lot of places to go, and people to see. It will be sunny and sixty-something, so my turbocharged MINI will be very happy with the cool-ish and dry weather conditions.

Drove mine to the next town near me. ~80 miles round trip. Had to stop by my Credit Union and since I was in the area I stopped at Red Lobster for a late lunch. Ultimate surf-n-turf! Car seemed a little sluggish on the return leg. Probably something to do with the extra weight.

Nothing today, but tomorrow my MINI gets to hangout with some divas. I have an Enzo, a Carerra GT and a 918 to photograph.
I need to wipe down the MINI with some quick detailer tonight. I don't want it to feel underdressed for the party.

A neighbor had a new Enzo for a short time. The delivery driver took it for a joy ride and damaged the front bumper. It didn't look that bad, but the repair bill was $35000. He refused delivery and built a racetrack instead.

I photographed about five million dollars worth of cars today, and finished just in time for it to rain on me and my MINI.
At least the Divas stayed dry. :frown2:

Oh, I also shot one that vetsvette would appreciate. It's a 1963 retro-mod vette. Not a bad driver. It had a dead battery, so I had to keep it running, which I did -- right up to the end when I was done shooting, and was ready to take it back to the shop. It died even before I tried to let out the clutch. Seriously? I was DONE!!!
I called the shop, they came to get the car, and I bailed. I had two more cars to shoot before the rain started.
