Car passed inspection yesterday despite tint and blacked out taillights.
"Monica, we thought you should know your taillights are very dark and you might get hassled by the cops"...... Yup, I know
Drove the piss outta Ryu today. He was a purring nicely![]()

I visited the electrons on line that will some day become our new Mini. They're in a computer in Old Blighty waiting to be turned from an electronic order into steel, plastic and rubber. Probably won't make it to our garage until early Feb. Looking forward to our first Mini.

Popped down to the shop this morning to do a little millin and cuttin and grindin....
Then I'll be running over to Grove City for a little Mexican....... (food, that is)....
Will be celebrating the life of a fellow co-worker who just passed away....
I'll also get to see people I've lost contact with from my previous life working in the plastic's industry.... Looking forward to seeing lots of old faces and old friends and knocking back at least one margarita.....
Hope I can match names to faces.... It's been 16 years.....:fingerscrossed:-

The sister called me as I was getting ready for work. She needed to vent. So the ear buds went in, and I continued to get ready, then walked out the door and drove off to work.
As I'm going down this long stretch of road (NOT doing the speed limit, but I'll leave it at that  ), my sister stops her complaining and says, "What is that loud noise?" LOL- THAT, would be the beautiful whine of my supercharger.
"It's so loud!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I know -

Took the wife's Countryman to the MINI5280 Children's Hospital Toy Run, we filled up the huge gift box.
A fine group of MINI5280 MINIs came with goodies today, all 18 MINIs.
Now getting ready for the MINI5280 Mexican Christmas Fiesta Dinner. Should be a hoot!

Yesterday at lunch we picked up our Countryman from MINI of Monmouth! Man that white is super clean, I'm gonna be detailing forever to keep everything clean! The only thing that went wrong was they put a front plate holder on after I told them I did not want one! If it wasn't so close to X-Mas I would have refused it! Son of a *****! Gotta get over it and not spoil the vibe
Introduction and pictures to follow!-

Wiped the snow off the car before work tonight.
(sorry for the crappy pic.)
I know it's not a big deal for the majority of people, but I basiclly don't drive the car in the snow unless I have to, (hell as low as the car is, too much snow & the car just becomes a giant "door stop" ) but tonight was that perfect snow, 2-3" on the grass & trees, and basiclly just wet roads.
Funny how every now & then, I get these little realizations, that even with all the mods & all the miles, the car still just does everything it should, in those everyday, daily driver, situations. (turned over 206k on the way to work tonight)-

Checked the web thing for mine's status and found out it's now on it's ocean cruise across the pond to join us here in The Colonies! Hope it goes easy on the buffets, don't need it arriving with a weight problem. :fingerscrossed:

Since I had the day off I decided to do a quick oil change. Funny thing, as I get older the oil changes get slower
