Nice job Teddy. Next weekend I will make the outside paint look that good. Have a safe trip.

Where does one get these metal jack points?
-
Same here in GA. It's awful.

Nothing new with the MINI, she sat home while we went to Birmingham for a softball tournament. My fielding was kinda shitty Saturday but batting was on point
Hit a homer! That night I ended up with food poisoning, puking and s******g my brains out till about 4 am. I didn't play Sunday.... but did sleep from 3 in the afternoon till about 5 this AM.

Take the plastic one and have someone copy it in solid aluminum. Maybe CNC you 4 of them. Then drill a hole in the center and use very strong toggle bolts to mount it where the old one was. That’s all the TSW ones are. -
I may still clean the injectors. When I get on it, no problem getting to redline. Boost is at 17 psi at redline. Get in the driveway and park, then it starts to sputter and bog down, almost like choking, then smooths out. I dont think it's the pump. Starts fine and all that. Just when it is idling it'll do the sputter and irradic idling. Not seeing any vacuum leaks. Upstream O2 bounces up and down like it should and downstream is smooth. Any ideas?

Dave.0 Helix & RMW PoweredLifetime SupporterFuel filter could be really dirty and causing an issue when idle-ing, or the fuel pump may be at the end of its life.

I picked up and had had my fuel pump replaced a 2 years ago with the one Colin sells.

I want to know what demon from hell thought it would be a good idea to put the expansion tank where you can’t get to the oil filter on Gen2 cars!

Nice list.. which knob did you go with?
Also you are seeing 270HP at the wheels.. what were you seeing prior to this list of changes? Curious on the gains.

@vetsvette its looking good!

My duct work is permanently out since it's no longer used, still the issue is that damn expansion tank. The stealership actually cracked that little plastic T fitting below the tank during an oil change and replaced it, super glad it didn't happen to me. My 12' doesn't have a notch either, but I always lay a rag on that radiator support thing so the socket extension doesn't rub the paint any more than the previous owner did.

It wasn't a demon, it was Z Germans
They love to over-complicate EVERYTHING, I grew up with a pack of them in the north woods and am like 60% German (2nd gen American). It also could be yet another way to get folks to pay someone to change their oil instead of DIY. Sonsabitches.

I think it's a cool idea, but how do they show the pressure?
And I'm sorry for your loss....... of air
