Took the R53 out with the wife to look at trucks. Now that I put a new compressor on it, it decided to turn on the trifecta of brake lights!! The scanner says it’s the control unit. Ugg! If I can fix it, it will be up for sale.

Not a fan of the auto wash either, but I’ll probably have to resort to it before the Mini Corral/IMSA Race at VIR on the 18th. I have all the Gyeon Coating supplies to do the car and wheels, but can’t afford to have my detail guy do it this month. Blew out a couple of the hard brake lines on the Suburban the other day and have to replace them all. I’ve replaced a couple sections of them before, but doing it piecemeal just hastens the next failure. Easier to replace them all, not to mention I don’t need the drama of losing brakes at 65 mph again. My grandson thought it was exciting.

Successes! The left handed drill did not move it but I did drill down the middle so I used a easy out and got it out. I left the guide in so most of the small shavings from the drilling fell on the guide. I would stop every few seconds and vacuum, I didn't have enough hands to do both at the same time. Also I put grease on the drill bit so I feel sure I got most the shavings. I am going to change the oil before I crank it but I really didn't drill that deep.
So maybe I will have a running car today!-
