I am waiting for them to get back to me. I feel sure they don't know anything about the GP yet. But the sales woman we have dealt with is a MINI enthuses I have bought a couple of cars from her. I don't expect to hear anything till tomorrow.

From everything I've read, they expect them to all be sold before they start production. IIRC they only made 2000 of the other GP models, but are building 3000 of the GP3. If what I've read is correct and they're going to make some of the in F54 trim that might account for the extra cars. Wish I could afford one of the F54 models.

Got rearended on my way home from work last night. It was snowing pretty hard and I was coming to a stop behind a line of traffic. The lady in an Audi A7 hit some ice and just bumped into my car's rear. Bumper to bumper, the plastic bumper cover is cracked, but probably no other damage. I took note that she didn't have winter tires on her car. They were "high performance" all season tires. I am not sure if her insurance is going to cover the accident. I will get the bumper fixed and check the wheel alignment. The A7 has a broken front air dam.

Wow!!! Yes by all means cool down before heading over. I bet the dealer refuses to do the repair again under warranty since the car has been sold to another.

Put the suction cups for my Zippee sunroof shade in boiling water to rejuvenate them.
Every few months, they stop sticking, and this does the trick for a while.
I like the fact that you can leave the rear one on and still open and close the roof.
Anybody know of a better product for a removable sunroof shade (double glass one like in the R55, R56, etc.)?? -

My dog is sick. I have to take him to the vet every 2 days for shots. Each way is about 20 miles. On today's trip, I noticed squeaking/squawking from the rear of my S. Since the car is lowered, do I need shocks or struts? This has been happening all through the winter and seems to be getting more pronounced over every bump in the road, no matter if I try to evade the bumps or not.
