Peeled all the decals off from the 2011 Rally North America event. 2,457 miles, avg mpg 31.4... A/C kept cabin chilly in 95+ temps with high humidity. I love this MINI Cooper!
You DD with a CG lock? :confused5: I only put mine on at the track. It would be annoying to have to deal with it daily.
I have found the "sport seat" in my R52 is decidedly un-sporty (esp coming from an R56). I slide around a bit too much and the CG-lock keeps my butt in place.
Drove an hour up the turnpike today for an appt..... there was little to no traffic too. It was hard keeping it in the double digits
Spent a bit more time working on the glare hood for the gauge pack on my dash. Reworked it to be a single bit instead of working with the mount that was in place. Sorry no pics.. After it was all fitted and cleaned up it went off to for powder coating with a semi-gloss black.
What a great night for the first time in about how many day it was 75 out and went for a two hr drive.what a great sunset.
WTF???? What did I do today? On my way home from work, I noticed a thumping sound/feeling in the front of the car. I pulled over a couple times fearing something was going to fall off!!!! I made it home (I'm only 3 miles from work) and immediately had the hubby jump in for a "WTF are you hearing/feeling" ride. It didn't take long..... Back home, he pulled off the front left wheel- and VOILA! My hub was loose! Yeah! LOOSE! WHY? ut::eek6: Well, he tightened the big-ass nut on the end and everything was fixed. But why? Has anyone else experienced this? :confused5:
It's a chronic problem with some of the GPs. I torque mine every time I swap wheels. Which is about every other week with all of my track time :biggrin5: I'd say, have them checked every time you have your tires rotated.
The gauge shroud cam back from the powder coat. Hopefully I can carve out the time later this afternoon to install.
