And I am sure another great opportunity (fast car) will present itself. I am toying with possibly replacing the 11 Countryman, maybe a later Countryman JCW or some such. Not sure even if it will be a MIN USA product. Sigh..... 90K miles on the 11. Don
Only a week into march and the trees are defecating on GIR. Cleaned him up two days ago and doesn’t even look like I did a thing to him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Should point out the pictures are from last Sunday but GIR looks exactly like that only two days after the wash. Most of that is from the pine trees. It’s going to be like this for at least a month if not longer depending on how strong the winds get. Good eye sir. 1962 GT Hawk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like a rally car after a few hundred miles of dirt roads.... Is that a Studebaker Hawk I'm seeing in the last pic? Love those cars!
Chicagoland Club drive.. Almost 20 MINIs came out to sample a couple area donut shops and do a bit of driving in-between Here is a link to more pictures https://www.flickr.com/photos/ernestovumbles/albums/72177720306830331
I've been crossing the border into the Washington state to buy fuel for my MINI where gasoline is significantly less expensive than in BC.
Back in January, I had my MINI in for an oil change. They told me that my brake light looked like it was intermittently not working and that I would need to get a new circuit board because it was likely melted. I saw the brake lights as working fine back then, so I didn't do anything about it. I noticed the right side rear brake light wasn't working recently, so I pulled it out to have a look and replaced the light bulb. The board looks pretty good to me. In one oil service, the dealer ruined 18 years of building a good reputation with this customer. along with wanting to charge me $1600 to replace a seized rear brake caliper.
