Well I'm feeling better about my smog problem. I found a new header that is CARB approved ad it's under 1k. I'll order it next week and get it installed after the car show on the 26th.
Ordered the new header and set up a date at the shop for the replacement. After the car show on the 25th. I don't want any problems before the show. It's running very well right now and with my luck lately something would.
I respectfully disagree about your luck….your chrome parts came in time for car show as did the powder coating so Checkers made it to the detailers with no problem which allowed you to win your class at the car show. All in all pretty good I’d say.
I ordered it from a place called AUTOHAUSAZ. I found them online. They are the only one I could find that has a CARB number. So it's should good in California.
USPS delivered the "UltraGauge" this morning... Seems to be a fairly capable CAN monitor with 63 monitoring possibilities... Has the ability of setting alarms on selected sensors and can clear codes... The 3M PSA mount has a flexible flap that contours to the curved dash trim and the position can be angled for easy viewing...
That looks good. Compacted. This is mine. A little hard to tell, but they are duel gauges oil temp, water temp, boost and oil temp.
Found a new cleaner for rubber, plastic and vinyl. I tried a little and seems to work pretty good. You can get a satin or gloss finish by apply more than one coat. Now to get started on the engine compartment.
Well that's the hard part. It's in a container that has Ceramic Garage's logo on it, so I don't know who makes it. I'll be there Friday for a wash and I'll ask and let you know.
I found out that Ceramic Garage has their Owen products that you can find on their website or on Amazon.
Made an appointment this last week at a Mini/MINI independent shop for an oil change and a Boot to Bonnet inspection.

I can sympathize on losing power for an extended time period as back in April we lost ours for four days.
