That is insanity! I put two wide band O2 sensors on my Lotus they are a couple of inches apart. They read exactly the same. Sorry you had to go through that.

    good luck with the test!

I'm back. Pass smog. I am not sure what they were looking for but they took a flash lite under the bonnet to inspect engine compart then on the rack for the under side inspection then on the smog machine. What a pain in the a// to deal with. I think he tried to be a Proctologist.

You know what's funny. With the new header it seem to have more power. The one I had removed was a race header that should have had better flow. I'm getting a little more boost also.

Pre-work oil change morning on my 2002 Cooper.

Getting stuff ready for MINIs on the Mack in a few weeks.

The hardest part was getting the stupid filter canister started without cross-threading.

Since it's been 8 years since I sold my Mini I had forgotten what fun that oil filter housing could be. The one on Skooby the R55 clubster is a piece of cake in comparison.

Nice to do a pre-flight check before going on a trip.

And oil change is done on the Clubman after work.. much easier on the 2012 than the 2002.

Washed Checkers next I'll use a product called Hydro Boost. It's suppose to help the ceramic coating.

It worked great and you can't beat it for $100.00. It's small and light weight. I was going to start polishing but it's to hot. The weather man said it should be 108 today. I'll start tomorrow morning early.

    IMG_2778 2.jpg

    She had the falafel salad...
    IMG_2780.jpg

I had the prime rib sandwich...

I'm thinking about trying a little something different. I order some new intercooler boots and airmass hose in black. I will add a little more chrome like all the screw clamps and intercooler boot brackets. I think with the black background the chrome should stand out. What do you think?

    Annual inspection passed! Woo!

I've had an intermittent CEL popping up for a while (I think I had a bad tank of gas), so I was very happy that it stayed away long enough for me to get good data in the CPU and pass.

It’s always a relief when I pass and don’t have to go back for two years.
