I guess they didn't have enough deer to color they are closed. I'll keep trying. For now I'm going to put the new valve cover and hoses on and see how it looks. Then see if it needs anything else.

To show you how the mini clubs here do to have fun. I got invited on a run tonight at 6:30pm to drive 80 miles to a mini dealer to eat watermelon and talk. Boy that sounds like fun (ha ha). I sure miss the good old days. We decided to go to Applebee's instead.

A little off subject but I was looking at you tube an found one on the 2025 Mustang 2025 GTD. Sounds like a real great car and so does the price. A round 300-350k. limited number like 300. It's a full blown race car for the street. 800hp 50/50 weight balance carbon fiber body and brakes also looks great. They plan to take it to Daytona and Le Mans.

Checkers is going in on the 29th for some minor up grades to the engine compartment. Some hoses and a new valve cover. I'm still working on painting the valve cover. I'll take some pictures when he comes home. Getting ready for the car show at Blackhawk Museum in Oct.

I got Checkers back with the changes I asked for, I don't really like it that much so I might change it back , but for now I see if it grows on me.

I think you are right. I'm going to change it back to red. It's not that I have to order the parts. I have several spares of just about everything.

Sorry, haven't been on here for awhile. Been busy. This retirement gig has been less stressful than my previous employer, but extremely busy. Our local MINI club went did an ice cream meet up and run recently. This coming weekend, is our annual Harrison Lake drive.

I pulled the intercooler and coolant tank to be polished. Then back to the shop to change back to red. You know for a little car their are a lot to clean.

Off subject . My bank got bought out by a other. So the last few months things have changed. Yesterday was the first day of the new bank and what a mess. First I can't get in to my account so I went online to see what I could do and nothing so I when to the bank. When I got there the parking lot was full ( I wasn't the only one with a problem). I talked to a tell and she gave me an appointment for 2 hours later. So I came back and talked to someone else and he said he wasn't sure but he said my user name was something else other than what I use. So today I well be going back with my laptop and see if they can get me into my account. I hate all this bull. I might be changing banks.

I feel your pain and frustration as I had very similar experience a few years back when merging credit unions sent out instructions on how to access your accounts but it didn’t work for me. After numerous attempts to get into the new system I called and it was explained to me how easy it was to change over to the new system….so I suggested they try and they did but were unsuccessful, was told to check back online at a later time and presto my account access magically worked.
