Neat.. your execution is much nicer.. I was given the vinyl from someone.. I believe it was a mis-printed sunroof graphic and I put it on as a lark, but it turned out I really liked it. Only time it isnt fun is when it is wet.. then the little pinholes fill with water and you cant see thru them well.
I finally got around to ordering a JCW brake kit. I have the JCW kit for the 05 model , but I like the looks of the GP2 brakes. Besides it's time I changed something.
I haven't been on here much of late. I've been looking after my parents and trying to get them moved into a seniors care home. However, I did make time to take the Mini/MINI clubs from the Vancouver BC area to drive the Pacific Marine Circle on Vancouver Island. Here are some shots. https://www.flickr.com/photos/beken/albums/72177720317756860.
Looks like a good event. It’s not fun having to find a home for your parents, I went through that also.
Great photos showing a fun and scenic event with a real interesting mixture of cars. Here’s hoping everything works out well for you and your parents.
Washed the MINI in preparation of taking a mini trip out into the country for lunch in Wooster, Ohio... Used my leaf blower and gave it a blow-dry, followed by a quick detailing with Bead Maker.. It was a grand day to be alive and out with my sweetheart...
Guys I need some help. I need to know if anyone knows or can give me a place to find what I need to do to mod my rear trailing arms to install the park brake cable on my car when I replace my rear calipers with the gen2 GP calipers. I can't seem to find anything on it. I know I have to change the front hoses.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/suspension/347633-rear-brakes-gp2-vs-jcw.html Some info that you may find helpful and some not pertinent. I gathered that GP2 rears would install like R56 rears would on a R53.
Thanks 00Mini the info was helpful. As usual I'll keep going until it works. One of these days I leave will enough alone.
I took Checkers in today for a little work. I got a couple codes and to have them install the GP2 brake kit (6 pot) front and rear calipers and rotors and new master cylinder.
Well I received my brake kit and it looks great except for one thing. It doesn't fit my car it's for a new model with 5 lugs. So it's back to the drawing board. Anyone know anything about Wilwood brakes? They have one that is suppose to bolt right on.
