I would guess that a Wilwood brake kit would weigh less and most likely cost less than the GP2 kit.

I have heard good things about them but that is all. I have no experience with them.

Back from my local shop on not-cold air conditioning for my 2012 Clubman.
System was part full but they could not find where the leak was coming from.
They did a top-up and added more dye to help find the leak.
    Nice and cold now..

Replaced the battery in my 2002 Cooper today.

This one is over 10 years old and still working, but I didnt want it to fail during MINI Takes the States.
First time I have ever replaced a battery in a car or motorcycle before it actually failed at least once.

Today I was checking the weather for the week and it's going to be a little warm. Between 103 and 110 till Sunday. So I'm going to stay indoors. For something to do I pulled out my work sheets on the Mini. I was going to put them in order by company and date of repair. This could be a big mistake. I have around 500 to 700 from about 12 different shops and parts venders. I've got all week.

When I had a job part of my work was doing inventory every month on about 10k items. It's about the same thing

    In the garage today...
The service reminder lights on the dash of my 2009 MINI Cooper suggests 2 yr brake fluid change...
Pulled out my handy dandy moisture checker, installed a fresh AAA battery...
    IMG_3890.jpg

Did a quick check and the fluid is still checking OK at <1%, but I'll go ahead and do a flush soon and check my pad thickness at the same time...

Hey Chuck I've got one of those too. A very good friend gave it to me.

I think the brake fluid in my coffee maker may need changing too. o_O

I did mine a little late at 10 years (my previous pad/rotor change).
I dont have a tester but the color still looked good.

I must be really behind the times because I wasn’t aware that nifty device existed.
