Coder used ESYS to remote in and provide coding services to make everything work perfectly. I don’t know how he coded it as my PC did not show what he was doing at his end. I just set my PC up so that he could remote in from his end.
Getting late in the season, but I got snow tires mounted on one of the MINIs today.. Still need to make time to do the other one before we get bad weather. Complicated by the fact I need to take the Sunbeam out to be able to get any work done.
lol that’s funny on my end because my new mini came from CT I had it shipped here when I bought it and he had new snow tires which I immediately took off snows off the rims and put some summer tires on then had the snows put on new set of 18 inch rims from discount tire and living in the south we definitely don’t need snow tires here but if I ever decide to drive somewhere where there is snow I’ll definitely have them! Not really sure why he had snows he never drove it in winter and was always garaged?
Merry Christmas everyone! Instead of a new thread I thought I would put this here. Post your mini want list and after Christmas post what you got.
Finally got the snow tires on the Clubman.. No harm/no foul.. we havent really had enough snow yet to matter. Glad I got it done before spring.
Unexpected warm dry spell for late December so my wife and I washed the MINI after going to one of our grandsons travel basketball tournament games.
Not that a did any mini stuff. Had a talk with my son about the Helmet. He needs a truck and said it’s kind of hard to maintain the Helmet at his apartment. So he is talking about fixing some small items and putting it up for sale. The short of it is I may just buy it back.
its been awhile since i have done anything to post about. I installed the Leaf Works difusser this last week. I never understood why they didn't install one from the beginning. All that aero under the belly just to be wasted for that parachute of a bumper and trim at the end. I was going to attempt to fabricate my own but the more I studied this one the m ore I was sold on it. There were a few things I had to modify, I am sure for my own satisfaction, but I well say this is a quality part. My body man was impressed.
Well I got a call from my son today. A tractor trailer pushed him off the road. He said the guy in the truck was looking at him in the mirror. He scraped the fencing on the interstate. He said he has to hold the steering wheel to the right about 10 degrees to go straight. That’s not muck but something may be bent. It could have been worse. The damage does not look too bad.
