I went with a smaller profile. There is a screen on my Garmin that gives me all the gauges from the HD (OBDII) and two millage counters + speed what are in real time. I use that, as nothing else is correct. :D

What did I do with my MINI today???

I dusted it off in anticipation of sitting on a stool later on, drinking beer and staring at it... :beer

It's either that or drive it. I see no other options.

Pulled the wheels and cleaned all the running gear, dressed all the black stuff, sat in a folding chair, drank a Shiner and stared at the li'l guy. Hmmm I'm seeing a pattern here.

(Found another half bushell of bugs stuck to the inside of the wheels)

    Drinking vodka.
Got a call from the dealer at 4 PM to pick LW up in an hour.
Got another call as I was walking out the door...
When they pulled the aux water pump for the recall replacement it was discovered that LW's main water pump was leaking and also needs to be replaced.
LW is in for the night.
I've never had any engine trouble whatsoever.
    Thankfully this is under warranty.
    Kind of a shock though.
Tom Bush Mini, Jacksonville, FL rocks!
And, the extended warranty looks more like a no-brainer all the time. :yesnod:

Installed Vibra-technics upper engine mount, new OEM lower mount
Installed new aero bumper mounting kit and other assorted hardware to finish repairing groundhog damage
Repainted bottom edge of aero bumper
    Changed oil
    Rotated wheels
    Replaced leaky exhaust manifold gasket
Put a new clamp on power steering reservoir hose
Pounded some shrooming out of left strut tower
Installed new engine bay fuse box lid
    Recharged AC
    Mounted Hella horns properly

Took two showers. Drank about 2 gallons of fluids. Collapsed from exhaustion.

Went on Eric's Riverrun & turned over 108,000 miles on some southern Ohio back road. :D

Tomorrow morning the de-bugging the MINI begins. Never knew I could slaughter that many bugs in a day.

It's MUCH better than it was with the TSW mount + VIP stabilizer.
I have virtually zero engine movement... and yet it also greatly reduced total engine vibration and reduce my abundant rattles, vibrations and heat shield buzzes by about 80-90%. It's actually crazy how much better it is. Like a new car.

Of course, this is in Blimey, which is a mutant mongrel MINI and results may not be typical. YMMV.

Absolutely nothing here either. Drove my M-I-L's gun boat for a Buick on a 250 mile round trip. Feel like I've been beaten up and left to live in the pain of it. Most uncomfortable car I've ever sat in. Hope we don't ever have to do that again.

Drove it over hill and dale. MINI ran great all day, still had loads of power during a long drive in temps over 90.
