Yesterday: Drove to Dublin, TX for the "I Support Dublin Dr. Pepper" rally with 13 of our MINI friends! The theme of the rally turned out to be "I'm a big fan of small!" which worked well with our cars of course! Then drove onto Ruidoso, New Mexico for a little cooler weather. (Sans the 13 friends!) Today: Drove around Ruidoso, up to Capitan, Nogal and back. Some nice twisty roads but they are very particular about speed in the safety corridors.
Drove to LaVelle winery for the Classic European/American car show. The GP was insulted by having to park *gasp* in the grassy field. We did survive the off roading (barely). Got to see 2 Sunbeams AND a Ford Squire (think Classic woody Clubby, but slightly bigger). A grand time was had by all (except maybe Huntley, she's still mad).
Off roading can be fun. If you have ground clearance. A skid plate helps too. I don't really off road just do the occasional dirt & gravel road.
Gave mine the Spa treatment..... She got a bath, followed by Hydro then Banana Gloss..... Lookin Good.... Then for a pedicure, I cleaned the wheels with Griot's wheel cleaner (smells good), followed by the Armor All Wheel Protectant..... [/IMG]
