A friend flying home from Alaska....he missed his flight and had to buy another ticket and it was $200 cheaper to fly to Indy
Went to MINI of Pensacola today to have my Halos wired. When the Serice Manager called me, he told me that the technician had a JCW steering wheel and shift knob. He said he would sell the steering wheel installed for $200 and give me the shift knob. I said do it. They go perfect with my Rooster Red Colorline interior.
On an R53 the inboard rear pad has a wire clip that slides over the piston. The outboard pad has none. I thought R53 & R56 rear brakes were the same. What is the actual difference between the inboard & outboard R56 rear pads? I'm not understanding something here.:confused5: Maybe they are not the same as the R53???
Not too sure about that. 'Woarshed' should get 5 or more n's. Maybe 'washed' should be limited to 2...and the bit with the italics is a whole 'nother discussion best held over coffee and donuts.
Painted Skooby the clubster's winter wheels. No longer a coal dingy black, but a fine silver finish. Hate to mount tires on them they are so pristineeeee....
Never thought I would tell anyone what I did with my MINI today, but here goes. Bathed my Roadster in rainwater for third time, detailed interior, turned over 550 miles and consoled my wife's Countryman when he heard he was not going on the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour with his parents and Shitzu girlfriend. Hope this was not too boring.
At least with black you have no worries about brake dust. I used Dupli-Color paints, etching primer followed by a couple coats of silver & a couple coats of clear. Pretty happy with the results.
