Looks good. Be careful, because that Ohio Gang might try and hijack your car. :D

The bar is the standard height at the G&R....

Spent the morning undoing all the scratches on Babs clubster. Random orbital to the rescue. :D

Was Babs driving under the bar when she got those scratches? This sounds like a good story.

No, some pin-head hit the A panel with their car or SUV door.:mad5: That knocked the plastic scuttle piece loose. It popped off on the freeway & beat the heck out of the A panel. Not much of a story I know.

I did this with my MINI on the way to go-kart racing.

I'm afraid to pull it out.. hasn't lost air yet.

I did 2 Sea Foam treatments.
It was a first for me.
There was no smoke after either treatment, but I did get 2 spirited drives in, one after each treatment.
Was kind of disappointed about no smoke.
It was my plan to have a redneck Father's Day BBQ celebration.
Turning the MINI into a smoke bomb in the back yard was supposed to be the highlight and fireworks substitute.
My husband was not amused and was very relieved that there was no smoke.

I have no idea if it made any difference in how the car runs.
It was running fine before and THANKFULLY it is still running fine now.
Why did I even do it?
Reading about carbon build up is making me paranoid, just like tensioner chain issues, oil change intervals, and turbo failure.
I need to read forums less and motor more!

I hope that all the dads here had a happy Father's Day!

    That is so infuriating!
Was the scuttle lost? Kind of hard to recover from a freeway.
    What is wrong with people?

I had my passenger door repainted last year because of a parking lot door hit by a big pick up truck.
They parked 1/2 into my parking spot too! :mad5:

Now I park way far away from everyone if possible.
Only problem is that I get approached by pan-handlers out there and sometimes it's scary.
    I'm a sucker too.
Today a lady came up to me out in the middle of nowhere parking lot land with a sad story. I gave her $5 so she could "feed her kids" and watched her walk over to the liquor store.
So, I came home and had a drink.
    And Sea Foamed the MINI.

That theory will work till friction wears off the nail head and the shank migrates itself into the the tire leaving an escape route for all the air. By that time you will have forgotten about it until the tire guy says: "Hey, lookie here what I found". (the voice of married to the experience).

No it was not lost. May have been easier on me if it had. It popped loose on the road & hung by the wire for the repeater light. Knocked the heck out of the panel. I was able to remove the marks with my armature detailer kit.

What is wrong with people, well that would take a long time to explain. No respect for anything or anyone & a it's a all about me attitude I guess. When I meet nice caring people it makes my day. Those types of folks are becoming quite rare these days.

I'm glad it held for the 15 miles to get home.. if it is still holding air, the next trip is straight to the tire patch guy to get it patched.

I'm sure a couple pieces of Duct tape would fix it right up, but I think I'll get it patched instead.
