Drove and washed the wife's CM. Impressed with the drive (my first in an "S"), but there is a lot more to wash on a CM then a hatch. Jim
I get it. I drove a Villager Mercury minivan for about 10 years. Each boy had his own seat and the dog could go where ever she wanted to. It was great. Kids fighting in the back is a huge driver's distraction! Now the fight is with me over wanting to drive the MINI. No, teenagers do not drive my car!
Hey Chris your wife has dyslexia. Mine went from a Forester to a justa clubster & boy is she happy. Although we do not have 2 little ones riding shotgun. I understand, having a happy wife is most important. :yesnod:
I hate driving the truck if I need to now..... going from the little, agile MINI to a gigantic truck with a lift and 35s just sucks. I feel like I'm fighting to keep it on the road
We own 2 MINI's & a Miata. The clubster is our big car. If it is to big to fit in the MINI we don't need it or have it delivered.
The truck is strictly for towing my husband's comp vehicle. I don't think we've had anything in the bed of it yet
Just got done detailing Babs clubster. Yesterday was polish day & today was clean every nook & cranny day. I'm bushed.... :beer Glad she has a small MINI & not a COUNTRYGAL.
Damn, you are awesome for cleaning her car! After NOT driving my car all weekend since it had no taillights  I dropped Ryu off today for a well- deserved post-Dragon oil change and rear brakes.
What we men won't do for the ones we love. Let us know what your dead tail lamps end up being. I have an 06 too & like to keep track of fixes.
I wash my husband's car FYI :cornut: Oh they are were not dead..... were just being "modified" :ihih:
I wash my husband's Celica too. Otherwise the poor girl usually looks more brownish red than black! I won't let him help me wash May either. He just does not do a good enough job, because he's not as detail oriented (he would say ridiculously anal retentive...) as I am. lol. His idea of a car wash is going to the gas station.
I wash my husband's car too, sometimes. It's an Avalon and not much fun. It seems huge after washing & waxing Little Wing. I'm holding myself back from washing son's Corolla. It really needs it, but I think he should do it. Only, he doesn't care. When I was 19 I didn't care either. In fact, I never cared about washing/detailing a car until I got Little Wing and I was 5---sumpin, sumpin...:blush2: What about these tail light mods? I want to get rid of the orange lenses in mine.
Actually as soon as I got a car I kept it insanely clean... couldn't deal with driving in filth. But I am the same way with the house. I will post pics of the lights when I get my car back this evening But to give you a hint... they were WAAAAAAAAY too bright and red
Nice of you ladies to wash the husband's car. Babs would never do that, but she does wash my knickers so I guess that is an even trade.
