Well my wife and I drove the MINI to meet up with some other MINI friends for some breakfast up in the foothills. Got back home and had a buddy of mine help me set the alignment and camber on my Classic Mini. Hardly had time for beer.....
stared at it in the garage wishing i could find my missing parts from somewhere. may have to buy another tranny at this point
I didn't do ANYTHING with my MINI this weekend.... it was all about me and a girls weekend Ok, now I feel horrible I haven't washed the car in a week :nonod:
Swapped out the the old for the new.... Old - Yoko AD08 on Work VS-XX New - Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec on Enkei RS+M that were in storage.
Finished up installing a MINI-FINI Sport-Link I. Nice design. Now I need to decide on some new exhaust parts. Rust is claiming the RH muffler.
Pulled out of garage, quick MTTS prewash, put back in garage. Then added new MINI .srf files to the Garmin and loaded the route for 7/4.
Oil changed, final detailing and it's off to DC Wednesday! I'm doing 4 legs of MTTS, jealous of those that can do more.
On the CM, RR picked up a nice deep screw in the middle of the tread. My two local tire shops would not repair a Conti RF. So choices, buy 2 new RF or 4 new All Season, so I went with the non-runflats. Put on a set of Continental DWS 225/50/17 on the CM All4 S, brings to mind the statement "Mind the Gap". Now if I can sneak in some NM springs when the owner/driver is not looking. :cornut: They sure do ride nice.
Fitted the obligatory spotlights, took a couple of hours as I made sure the wiring was 100% correct using relay and result was fantastic, they look like they are factory fitted ;-)
tried to find the rest of the parts for it again. i have until friday to find the parts if not im covering the cost of a new trans
