Tackleberry has the credentials plus I'm the guy who went to school and ran around with the real Tackleberry (David Graf). The southeast chapter of MoM is hereby established.
Thanks. I got my vinyl from Carbon Fiber Gear. http://store.carbonfibergear.com/3m-di-noc-carbon-fiber-vinyl Also, thanks CHKMINI for the induction into MoM. I will endeavor to represent in an honorable manner. :biggrin5:
Hmmm...I didn't experience the rotation error...so far, so good. About 200 miles of my weekly commuting knocked down, I would've seen it by now. Just lucky, I guess. About to click over 8,000 miles...since March 28th. I used to log 75 miles a day commuting, with the job change I'm down to 50 or so, it it's slowing down a little. We put 64,000 miles on our Mazda5 in just two years...it's resting a lot since my MINI arrived!
What a difference a few miles makes. We has 10 minutes of hard rain, a bit of wind & poof all gone....
Washed 2 Black MINI's after the storm rolled through. These cars get dirty just sitting in the garage!
A few raindrops fell here in the downtown area, that's about it. What did I do with my MINI today? Drove up to MAG to pick up an oil filter. Planning an oil change after I get back from the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. While at the dealer chatted with Sam a bit and welcomeed Amber back. Took a look at the Goodwood on the showroom floor. Very nice leather, scrumptious carpets, great looking paint. Would make for fun runabout when the Rolls is in the shop. Then again, I don't have Rolls type money so I'll probably never know what a Goodwood drives like. While the service folks at MAG are good the sales side is equally lackadaisical. There was one person on the sales floor reading a magazine the entire time I was there. She didn't utter a word to me.
Must just be Friskie then. He's always doing something to get attention...like smudging up his ash tray.
I got to drive my Mini to Villanova today to remove a defective SQL server. It was a nice ride except for it being 102 degrees outside. (true temp)
