:cornut: Nice Wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I couldn't agree more on your decision to trash the run flats. With that loss in unsprung weight(wheels and tires) doesn't it now feel like your suspension has tightened up? Jason
Walked out into the garage looked at all the dust & dirt from a weeks driving, shook my head & am back in the house drinking coffee while I pound on a keyboard. Maybe I'll do something later.
Man Chuck those wheelz look wonderful. Great job on the refurb. You are going to have to work a bit harder to clean them. More nooks & cranny's than the JCW wheels. I think they are worth the effort.
Chuck... Stop by the shop today. Mark will be here around 10:30am. I brought Prema stuff. I'm gonna warsch the MINI and do a little detailing. You can do your warsching here too... I think Jason might stop by as well. Kind of an impromptu non-club get together. The more MOM's the merrier.
A whole clan of Silverbacks showed up. Had a grand time. There sure was a lot of grunting going on. A couple of really big Silverbacks were rolling around under Dark Helmut. Pics to follow for sure. Chuck showed up with his picsure takin machine.... Mark... Your splitter looks great...
+1 your slipper looks grand. The grand donut award goes to M/M Chuck & Jason the silverback in training. :donut1::donut1::donut1:
aligned the hatch and made it so the passenger window works. slowly getting through my list of stuff to fix
Washed the MINI after a loooooooong couple days of wedding stuff for my sister's wedding yesterday. And showed GREAT self control the other night when my friend was messing with me on the road in their Mustang. I wanted so bad to make them look bad on the back roads but I was hauling the wedding cake in the MINI at the time :mad2:
Drove home this morning from the central coast. Left 70 degrees behind for the 90s. Hmm... somethin's not quite right there. ut:
:cornut: Went and celebrated being accepted to grad school with MINI Margi. I got good cigars, fueled up with 93 octane, checked tires and fluid levels, drove through the car wash, got a Starbucks, and Minied off into the night on country roads and circumnavigated Grayson County, Texas. Gave a big 'through the roof hole wave' to a Highway Patrolman who I perpendicularly passed at an intersection. He waved back and turned the opposite way. Life is good. Jason
Congrats on grad school Jason! I gave May the once over for fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, slime kit with compressor, and generally made sure she's roap trip ready. Leaving tonight to drive to Atlanta for Dragon*Con! Very excited! Trying to pack her so that we can drive top down when it isn't raining on us. Last year we did a bad job of that, lol. Gotta leave enough space to smuggle back a bunch of Yuengling and SweetWater beer too. :beer
