Gave her a bath and then drove down a dusty lane and got rained on. The bath turned out to be pointless. :mad2:

Drove up to Mid Ohio and watched the first day of the NASA Championships with a fellow MoM. I will make the same trip tomorrow to watch some more class championships.

We went driving on Ohio's back roads, we found some nice ones too. Also learned about roll backs. My MINI has reached classic status today. Yep a ride on the roll back. AAA+ FTW!

It appears the alternator no longer alternates. Got about 30 miles driving on battery power.

I changed Rita's oil again today. Used Mobil 1 0W40 and a factory filter. I'm doing 2 short intervals get things really clean. After that, I plan to run Mobil 1 5000-7500 miles between changes.

Got new tags, (Now I can ride on the roads again). And after 111,500 miles a new battery. Bosch from Pepboys, with a 20.00 coupon and core it came to just under $100.00. I am a happy camper once again :biggrin5:

Today, my friend Richard and I modded my wife's JCW Coupe. New Mach V Technics lowering springs, beefy Alta rear sway bar and new torque bushing inserts for the lower engine mount. Stance much improved. Handling very much improved. JCW handles like it's on rails now.

    Looks good!

I'd suggest get it aligned. Lowering the car will cause you to need one.
