:cornut: Went to class and listened to 'a paper' written by a PhD Ecology Research Professor from Texas A&M. He was basically telling us that all the fear mongering being done by the 'Loud' Ecology political people(climate change caused by man vs a cyclic change that occurs normally every 20k-50k years or so) is UNPROVEN and based on old research done in the 80's and 90's that was too limited in scope. The current research being done is including all data from radiant sun energy, atmospheric data, current and paleoclimatology, geology, marine and land current and paleobiology...........................................ad infantum. He said that the current data being spouted by the media is too little and too soon.( one tree hugger in the back of the auditorium tried to 'sharp shoot' him but went down in flames as most liberal socialists do when confronted with facts) Jason
Sitting at MINI of Austin getting an alignment (pulling to the left) and an oil change. These guys are doing a good job. I'm suprised it took this long to need an alignment after the track-days and occasional off-course excursions and bumpy autox lots.
Drove the MINI to my first field motorcycle class. I'm still alive so it went pretty well :cornut: Roads were quite nice at 7:30 on a Saturday morning
Took the cure for cabin fever. Drive up to Amish country with some friends had a nice meal & added a new number to the odometer 112,000.
Turned over 69,000 miles on a little jaunt through the Ohio countryside with both MINI and non MINI owning friends.

I could so go for another foot or so of a Remo's chili dog! It was a fun day with friends. I'm glad our accidental detour ended up on another nice stretch of road.
I washed and cleaned my car today and tucked it back in the garage. Maybe tomorrow it will get another layer of wax.
Cleared standing water out of the battery box of the 04 R53.....Recharged the battery, now have to find the leak source and seal it.
