:cornut: I'm going(in my MINI MM:biggrin5 to north Dallas to pick up a new computer box/hard drive. It didn't happen last week so I'm doing it now. Jason
Tackleberry was in its first car show today. It was a beautiful day for one. I last did this show when I had my Accord (about 7 years ago) and it was a more competitive show then. Today, I competed in a Foreign All class and was bested by a BMW that I never saw. Since it was all for a good cause, Second Place was not too bad.
Euro Sunday with the Classic along with a couple other buddys and their rides... One with an MGB Racer and the other with his GP.
Drove the Cape May run with the Drive n Eat group, turned 62,000 on the way home. Pictures to follow in the DnE thread.
Yesterday: DIY at MINI of Dallas; then the Not Normal party at MINI of Plano (cuz no one throws a party like MINI of Plano throws a party!) Today: LaTex MINI Skirts meeting!
:cornut: From an old soldier to and old Marine; you might want to change the color to Brittish Racing( Opps, I mean Marine Corps)Green.:biggrin5::yesnod::wink2:lol: Jason
Twas yesterday, but I sat in the MINI quite a bit. Forgot it was the Columbus Marathon and I got caught in the all the traffic on the way back from the post office.
Big crowd this year along the route. I was down there over by the Kenny & Kinnear intersection as my wife ran the last 8 miles with a girl that she had trained for the race. (if I ran 8 miles I would be typing this from the hospital!)
MINI locked away in the garage again for the week. My dad passed yesterday he was 86 and lived a good life. We're down in Florida for the funeral tomorrow and then gotta get stuff settled with the house and things.
My thoughts are with you and your family, Jim. If you need anything, let me know. An impromptu mini run can be arranged.
