Oh the trivia I find, thanks to my friend Google.

While potential Frankenstorm is named Stacy I was curious to see of there had been or could be a Hurricane named Nathan. Turns out if there a hurricane in the Eastern Australian Region and it gets to the N's there is a Nathan.

I put my Mini in garage for hurricane Sandy and my wife decided it was a good weekend to paint the kitchen. Ugh

:cornut: MINI Margi carried me to school and back. It's still great fun. I'm older than the students and the professors and I've been around the world a couple of times. Several times while under enemy fire. Life is good.

Parked Desmond in the garage to protect him from Hurricane damage. Prepping him for trade in on Desmond II, even though thats still 6-8 weeks away.

Gassed up the MINI and parked him in the garage until the apocalypse is over.
When I drive him next he'll be super clean and have a full tank of 93

Forgot to post earlier last week. Crossed over 67k miles.

Wife and I had a long discussion about the Mini and it's longevity with planning for kids. Looks like I will be swapping it out for something else in the next 3-6 months depending on the potential to sell to a private party or not. Gonna try to get all the miles I can out of it until then.

Drove it downtown for the start of two weeks of jury duty. Not a fan of morning rush hour traffic and trying to find a parking garage that is close to the court house and not full by 9:00 am.

    Can't afford three vehicles.

The kid won't be an accident. We are planning for one now. :)

No mini vans! Looking at "sporty" sedans or larger "hot hatches". Mazdaspeed6, Subaru Legacy with the WRX engine, GTI, Focus ST, Mazdaspeed3, etc... :D

Drove one. It was.... okay. There are other cars I'd rather have for the same money.
