Dodged crazy impulsive Taurus drivers and thanked God for the autocross experience! One more coat of paint and it'd have been really ugly.
Said "See Ya" to the MINI this morning.... Took the Expedition to work due to the threat of "Salty Roads" today.....
Slipped past 17,000 miles motored this morning with my 2012 MCS that I took home on 3/28/12. Actually, any "slipping" may be on the drive home. First snow of the season arrived in STL metro about noon. Still too warm to stick, though.
Those look good, who did these for you? I will be getting slush all over the Countyman today. It is going to be warm for the next 3 days until our Christmas eve snow. Don
Steve at R2-limited He does stuff for the Mazda guys. Will do any custom badge. He's great to work with and super responsive. I already had my design pretty much baked. Sent him vector files on 12-4 and got them in hand on 12-19. That included time for the epoxy resin to cure. Highly recommend.
Drove to work in 24f temps. I know it gets MUCH colder in other places but that's damn cold for Central Texas.
Woa, that is cold! It's 45 here! I hit a stretch of road with no one on it this morning..... yeah buddy!
Washed up the Countryman today, spiffed with Hydro, filled the tank (Wife's CM, this is my job). Wiped some dust off of Scooter, he is resting for the win. Don
Today I put reindeer antlers and a big red nose on my MINI. Kidding I think those things look stupid.
Yesterday at lunch we picked up our Countryman from MINI of Monmouth! Man that white is super clean, I'm gonna be detailing forever to keep everything clean! The only thing that went wrong was they put a front plate holder on after I told them I did not want one! If it wasn't so close to X-Mas I would have refused it! Son of a *****! Gotta get over it and not spoil the vibe Introduction and pictures to follow!
Washed all the salt off. Now to find a touchless carwash nearby that also has an undercarriage spray too.
I didn't touch the car..... Went outside to see if I wanted to wash Ryu. Felt how freakin freezing and windy it was and went back inside. Good thing I didn't... We lost power for a while today. None of my detailing tools would have worked! :frown5:
