Checked the web thing for mine's status and found out it's now on it's ocean cruise across the pond to join us here in The Colonies! Hope it goes easy on the buffets, don't need it arriving with a weight problem. :fingerscrossed:
Since I had the day off I decided to do a quick oil change. Funny thing, as I get older the oil changes get slower
on the r50 topped off the oil, realigned the hood, and still trying to figure out the horrible noise it makes while driving it
"The older I get, the faster I was." I spilt hot cider on the floor in back, yelled something I made a New Year's Resolution not to say, then got 'er steam cleaned up really well and refreshed the interior detailing while I was at it... but the outside still looks like winter.
Took Scooter for a spin after being out state for a few days. Sure was nice hearing that turbo spool up and my gruff JCW exhaust all happy. Avoided the ice patches and the snow, it was a happy 32 degrees and sunny this afternoon. Don
Oh let's get my list of things for today I ordered: -BSH catch can -VT right side mount and torque link -carbotech 1521 pads -ss brakelines -(waiting for Jan to get back to me for rotors and fluid) -rod end boots for my tarett control arms -JCW door sills (b/c I am allowed since I do have a JCW) and now I am going to get the salt off her. This has been a very expensive yet productive day for Henrietta and myself.
Replaced plugs with NGK's since the old ones were getting pretty worn, cleaned the air filter and took a shake down pass through the valley to go get gas.
Took the BLU one out for a drive & hit up the parts store for some new plugs, oil filters & oil. Then took Skooby to spray carp off car warsh. Nice & clean once again. No burgers, but some Mexican in a bit. :drool
