Hummmmm, oil and donuts. This is worse then I thought Crash. I'm sure there's a chapter of "OA" around Columbus someplace?

Jim, does OA stand for Outmotoring Aaron? If so, he moved from Columbus to Knoxville about a year ago but his legend and spirit live on with all MoM's. :)

An ideal combination of courage, a coupla extra hands, & the perfect how-to guide finally dared me to let go of my subframe-drop virginity for the long overdue front suspension overhaul. The clunk was like off beat, out of tune percussion to the sweet whine & grunt music the engine makes. It just had to go. Replaced LCA bushes w/ pre-pressed OEMs. The swaybar bushes & inner ball joints were fine but replaced em anyway. I'll try PUs next. Toyed w/ just lowering the subframe, but better judgement prevailed. Went the full drop for proper install, torque & detail! Took 6hrs w/o a lift. Result? Now driving a brand new R53! Dug up an excellent guide from guess who?

    Again, thanks, Keith!

I finally got around to doing the rear wiper delete. Glad it's gone! Oh and by the way, I did it right and invested less than 2 bucks.... :beer

Do you know when it's too cold to wash your car?

I learned the answer to that now...

While washing my car today at the do-it-yourself car wash, I realized as I was spraying off the soap that the water was freezing on my car!!! :eek6:
Oh, and it's 21 degrees out.

Don't worry, all the ice is gone and off my car :cornut:

Today I washed more salt off my car.

Who cares if it was only 28 degrees out with a little breeze, it just makes it eazier to dry.

    Just pull off the icicles.

Had to take PEPPERNSALT out of her winter dream to do "emergency drive" in the city... Right after, I gave her a wash before putting her back in garage... Back to sleep. Spring is far away, still...

    Salty Mint FTW! :D

Nothing wrong with an old MINI. They improve with age like a fine whine. (R53:))

    Nope...as much as I love the Rallifart I missed my MC40. Bought a 2002 R53. Needs a little work but overall a great 3rd car/project/toy...:D.
