Drove RDNZL over to Home Depot for some paint for the garage. The first time it's been out in February, because there's no salt on the roads down here!!!
Had new rotors and EBC reds loaded up including getting the calipers and disc hats paited RED along with having those beat up web spoke rims stripped and repainted. Gave everything a new coat of carnuba to help them keep that morning fresh feeling all day long. The corners look almost better than the rest of the rig.
Took it in to have the bowden cable in the drivers door replaced as the door pull felt as there was some slack in it. Ended up not being the cable. Still have to look into this more, might be the door pull, might be the latch. To be continued.... Also made appt for full fluid flush and change in April to prep for MOTD.
After eight days of driving a P-O-S Mazda5 from Hertz, I took the MINI to In-N-Out for some comfort food..... Great to be back home!
And I introduced our Mini to 5 Guys. (Unfortunatly, no In-N-Out in this part of the USA.) Seems Bertie has a taste for the fries.
:cornut: She took me down to MINI of Dallas and she got EBC RedStuff front pads with new MINI discs, brake flush, coolant flush/change/ oil and filter change, she has CAI so I take car of that, her(however many) point check and then she brought me home. Love that little car. Jason
The Fed Ex truck with squeeky brakes dropped off Bertie's new Weathertech floormats and I put them in. Herself likes the look (and protection) and that makes Bertie and me happy too.
I put WeatherTech in the front row, second row and back in the new Explorer.... They have a perfect fit and do a great job of containing the melted snow...
Took the Mini out and watched the Ralley cars run the, 100 acre ralley race in Potosi MO today. Didn't get to see Ken Block but seen a Mini run the course did real good, seen him later at the finish line got a big thumbs up when he saw my mini,as he was getting his finish time. LOL...
Finally got the supercharger off and as I suspected the oil had dried up in the rear near the water pump. The gears have pretty well eaten themselves up. The front near the pulley, still has plenty of oil though. Man I still have a lot of work to do...
:cornut: Yeah we got a little rain the other night but sunshine and 55f today. However:eek6::crazy: 110f in the shade Jun- Mid Sep is coming. Jason
Sway bar Installed eibach sway bar and plasti dipped mirror covers orange. Both mods have big impact. Amazed that the under steer is gone! Best mod ever.
Installed the "PCV Delete" caps. Most difficult part was getting the original line off, as the caps take some effort to disconnect.
