Since we have had a lull in the weather (snow & ice), I housed out the garage and started the MINI! Woo Hoo. Washed off Black Magic, re-pulled in it's charging tail, and covered her up until the weather improves in the spring. If it snows in July here, I will move to Hawaii.

Dorky story I know.. but I still had a smile on my face pulling in & out of garage. Motored in the MINI 20' for 2013.

Today, I think my MINI had on it's cloak of invisibility. Drove a whopping mile or so in the rain to the Market. Almost was hit 4 times in 5 blocks by cars pulling out from the curb. It's like I wasn't there at all. Headlights were on too.

I cleaned her yesterday and installed this  Whalen did an amazing job. Cannot believe the difference in shifting feel and the fact that I don't have to reach down... it's like a rally shifter.

He can make it if you ask. It's called the tall knob; there are several others out there but I don't think he wants to make a mass production of them b/c it was sort of a PITA.... or perhaps it was just me lol
