FINALLY! I got my Tarett Engineering upper and lower rear control arms on. Almost got the OCC on but we (my dad) broke something so that'll have to wait. Next is a nice alignment. If anyone has a nice good street setup that is easy on tires but great on performance PM me please... don't post it here. I also did a little clay bar and wax... Henrietta is a happy gal!
Washed it. Twice. Still sorta not exactly clean. OK, I'm ready for spring rains to wash away all this salt.
:cornut: Ah Nathan it'll be alright. In the words of the great poet and scholar Dave.O, it'll buff out. Jason
:cornut: SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....................I've been a naughty boy recently and I'm trying to get back in good graces.:lol:(oops..........which ego were you talking about?) Jason
:cornut: What.........that little Shy Retiring Shrinking Violet Wall Flower:crazy::lol::biggrin5::frown2: But Yeah...........I hear ya. Jason
:cornut: Yeah Buddy!.............you were carrying a whole bag full of lightning rods weren't you! Jason
The summer tires are so much grippier than the winter tires on a warm(ish) dry sunny day that I found myself doing generally 10 miles/hour (about 16) faster than I've been normally driving the last 3 months. But in doing so, I crossed another MINI milestone. That's 100,000 miles and the MINI still feels like it's barely broken in. Thanks to the folks at Motoring Alliance, other forums and clubs and all you that attended AMVIVs I went to for being there with me.
Nice milestone!! But I am a bit concerned aout the scenery. Are you sure you are in Canadia? I mean, heck I'm in Ohio and I still have snow in my yard. Whats up with that? :confused5:
:cornut: Put some alleged snake oil in her. Water Wetter in the radiator. Seafoam in the empty gas tank, then filled her up with 93 octane, then Seafoam mist through the intake with engine running at operating temp and 750RPM. Washed her just before the thunder boomers rolled in. Jason
Yesterday put on the 19mm rear sway bar and the new camber plates. Today shifter bushings, cd changer, and valve cover gasket.
Yesterday washed wifes MINI and empty OCC in my Clubman. Going to the Outer Banks, NC friday with MINI freinds for Beer & Wine tasting.
Nick while you have the intercooler off for the valve cover gasket, you might as well install a GP Intercooler...
