What did you do with your MINI today?

I managed to get Scooter washed up from his brief stay in airport parking and the snow and road crud. Almost made 70 today in Colorado.

Nope.. just sanded down as best I could and rattle can Rustoleum. If I need to redo it in a year or 2, it's ok.

Getting ready to paint my calipers and this caught me by suprise when I pulled the wheels. Doing it more for looks than long term protection this time.

 

Pulled mine out of the garage to make room for a friends MINI. My garage becomes a lubritorium this morning.

 

Too nice of a day outside...
Gonna fire up the MINI and head out to "Der Dutchman" for some Amish grub at noon today... Their chickin is calling me... Big time...

Went to the Nurburgring and saw these.

 

Washed it even though it will rain tomorrow and probably snow again on Monday. Then went for quite quick drive to dry. Dang those Blizzacks are squirmy when it's 60 some and sunny.

 

opened the sunroof and windows and went for a beautiful cruise by the beach

Donuts this morning. :donut1: Then an oil change for a friend followed by a show change. From snow shoes to running shoes today. On both MINI's. While I was at it the brakes were inspected & detected. No brakes had to sit on the group W bench.

Wiper blade change out day too. I'm bushed..... :sleep:

Babs MINI needs a deep cleaning, but it can wait. :sleep:

 

Met up with physics mastermind and then went back to his secret underground lair to work on our plans to conquer gravity (ok, so I met Nick for breakfast and then we went down to the workshop in his basement and worked on pinewood derby MINIs).

 

Traded it in. For this...

 

Made my car faster by adding more red.
Hope to get everything put back together tomorrow..

 

Blizzacks off today and Kumho back on...Spring is here.

 

After working on our pinewood derby cars with Brian. I reinstalled my armrest, made a template for my skid plate, made a template for the air divider, did a little sound proofing, and changed the intercooler air flow some.

 

Was this new car not supposed to be the kid carrying MINI replacement or did I missread something a long time ago. :cornut:
